VA Loans

Received a loan approval email from an individual claiming to be from the Department of Veteran Affairs loan department. The email had a break down of what I would have to pay and for how long depending on the type of loan that I chose to receive. It also indicated that once the loan was transferred, my first monthly installment would be due 30 days on the date authorization was given. When I called the number given (713) 597-6904 I was told that if I sent my first two monthly installments (a total of 700.00) to them to prove I could make the payments, my money would be transferred to me in an hour (red flag). I was also told that I needed to send it via money gram first to Eric Martin. This didn't sit well with me so I didn't do it but, after asking questions I decided to go ahead and try it, the new name I was given was Dania Toledo. After transferring the money, I never received the funds and I was then instructed to pay another 475.00 as insurance in the event I was unable to continue to pay on my loan or if I was to lose my job. When I said no, and that I wanted my money back, I was told that I couldn't get it back. When I notified them that I was contacting the Revdex.com I kept getting calls and they were trying to promise me that everything was legit and that if I paid the 475.00 I could have the loan amount in my account, however, if I chose to cancel my loan amount that it would be 80.00 and I wouldn't receive my money for 45 days.
