Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This is a statement We were told by V himself that his mechanics could not find anything wrong with the vehicle At that time we took the vehicle back, and started noticing White Smoke, and liquid that smells sweet like maple syrup coming from the exhaustSo if "They Fixed It", why does that problem still happen? The overheating is a symptom of the bad Head Gasket, it is not fixed without a new Head GasketWe will not even discuss the "$off the price" as when we talked to the sales rep he had told us $4,to which we said ok, then at the last minute before paying there was a mysterious buyer at another lot so they jacked it back up $extra bucks. Now we would be perfectly fine returning the vehicle and getting our money in full back, or if he pays a third party mechanic for the repair of the Head Gasket since it is well within our rights to be notified ahead of the sale that the head gasket is going out/has already gone out We were not informed of this whatsoever This vehicle may be "As Is" however does "As Is" mean we can not be honest about what is wrong with the vehicle? This is not an acceptable response from VA Quality Motors, there has to be full disclosure of what the situation is with a vehicle so we can properly decide whether or not it is a vehicle we would like to purchase Since this has not been done we deserve a resolution that is fair So either we will take a full refund of the cost we payed towards the vehicle, and return it Or we will accept a new headgasket repair to be performed at a third party mechanic that VA Quality Motors pays for Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. According to *** Blue Book this car is worth $right now. I was sold this car for $however on the window sticker it said that the car cost $5000. Please see the attachment that shows that I paid $8995.00. The odometer disclosure statement says that the car had miles on it but when I took ownership of the car there was miles on the car. Please see the odometer disclosure statement attachment. I was promised a three month warranty verbally from *** and as you can see from the Quality Motors (attachment) they say that every care is given a warranty. However I was given a "as is- sold without warranty" form to sign. Please see this form in the attachment. *** verbally told me and my father that the car was $and that there was a warranty. Quality Motors is not a reputable business and needs to be closed. They take advantage of people that are unaware and poor. My attachment are included to support my facts

I have NOT received a new tag and when I called to find out if they were holding it at their office, they did not get the tag. We are on this merry-go-round again. I explained again what the DMV told me about them bringing in the paper work from the transfer and tell them that there was an oversight by not getting a replacement tag. They could get the tag as they were supposed to in the first place. Now he is actually lying about taking care of this in a letter to the Revdex.com! Really? I may end up having to take care of this really minor issue myself and if it hadn't been for the attitudes of the ownership of this company, I probably would have quietly, but not now, They have been so rude and unwilling to correct a mistake they made it is really ridiculous.

This is a false statement.  We were told by V himself that his mechanics could not find anything wrong with the vehicle.  At that time we took the vehicle back, and started noticing White Smoke, and liquid that smells sweet like maple syrup coming from the exhaust. So if "They Fixed It", why does that problem still happen?  The overheating is a symptom of the bad Head Gasket, it is not fixed without a new Head Gasket. We will not even discuss the "$500.00 off the price" as when we talked to the sales rep he had told us $4,000 to which we said ok, then at the last minute before paying there was a mysterious buyer at another lot so they jacked it back up $400 extra bucks. Now we would be perfectly fine returning the vehicle and getting our money in full back, or if he pays a third party mechanic for the repair of the Head Gasket since it is well within our rights to be notified ahead of the sale that the head gasket is going out/has already gone out.  We were not informed of this whatsoever.  This vehicle may be "As Is" however does "As Is" mean we can not be honest about what is wrong with the vehicle?  This is not an acceptable response from VA Quality Motors, there has to be full disclosure of what the situation is with a vehicle so we can properly decide whether or not it is a vehicle we would like to purchase.  Since this has not been done we deserve a resolution that is fair.  So either we will take a full refund of the cost we payed towards the vehicle, and return it.  Or we will accept a new headgasket repair to be performed at a third party mechanic that VA Quality Motors pays for.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI did let them knw about the issues I was having with the car and I called their service center and their service center was gonna charge me an arm and a leg to just look at the car and I would had to pay it just like if I took it to a regular shop and the car fax that they show me only had one owner and I found out through the other dealership that the car had 3 owners and was wreck at one time and that dealership called quality motor to ask them for the pay off amount on the car and quality Moter didn't even make a note in the file about the call knowing that I was going to trade the car in. They waited over a week to ask for the gps system back instead of the next day and any right dealership knows that it their responsibility to get their equipment back not the customers quality motor knew what kind of lemon they sold me and all they care about is money and I think everyone should be aware of what kind of sneaky dishonest business that the dealership is. They didn't say anything or I didn't even sign anythin saying that if I get rid or something happen to the car that I was responsible for the gps system and they have no proof that it cost 200.00 when alot of gps is under a 100.00...So they knew how to steal money from me.

We were not aware that a deal had been finalized for Ms. [redacted] at [redacted] Chevrolet. Her account was charged $350 for her monthly payment before we received the check from [redacted] to pay the balance on her car. She was called about the charge and told that we would refund her money. However,...

the GPS needed to be returned. [redacted] said that the car was sold at auction. We told her that she would be charged $200, and this would be refunded upon return of the GPS.
Ms.. [redacted] had this car for one and one/half years and didn't report any problems to us, problems that could have been fixed in our Service Department. We're sorry that we lost a good customer. If she returns the GPS, we will be happy to refund her money.
