We purchased a [redacted] Vacuum for $1,300.00 in June 2013 from the Vac Shack west, on [redacted] in [redacted]. This is not our primary vacuum, however, we have had to have it in for service on four different occasions. On two occasions the vac shack owner Ron, became very defensive when we expressed our disappointment in the product for the amount of money paid, stating "so this this how we are going to start this" in a condescending tone. On another occasion, the handle mechanism did not seem to be working properly, Ron stated he could find nothing wrong, a few days later a part from the vacuum fell off while in use, Vacuum was brought back to VAc Shack where Ron stated, there's your problem. on this fourth and last occasion, the motor of vacuum sounded like a a "747" taking off. I brought the vacuum back to Ron's store, explaining that it is much louder than usual, He plugged it in and said it sounded "good to me" he plugged in a floor model that was less expensive and it was whisper quite. Ron said he could change the brushes and roters but wasn't sure that was the issue, Three of the four times we have been in there to take our vacuum in for service we found Ron to be very defensive and condescending. I tried to send an E-mail to [redacted] twice and have received no response. The Vac shack on [redacted] is the only [redacted] dealer in [redacted]. So much for" made in America" as well as a dealer that is rude to customers. I would never recommend this place of business to anyone ever. I would also beware of buying a [redacted] Vacuum
