Billing Adjustment I would like an adjustment to my bill or some sort of customer satisfaction from the company
Mr. stayed in one of our managed properties at the Shores of Panama. Prior to his stay, he did check with us regarding the elevators, and upon checking with Shores of Panama security, were assured the elevators were working. During his stay, we were informed that the dryer was in need of repair, which we addressed with him promptly by phone and fixed within a day. It was later than we received numerous complaints about the elevators, which is part of the resort, not managed by Vacation *** Properties. We informed him his best course of action was to speak to security. After his stay, he left a terrible review, to which we replied that we are not responsible for the elevators, but the area inside each condo. We exchanged emails with him asking for compensation and we returning with messages stating that we couldn't refund based on the fact that the hotel elevators were not all in service.
Mr. then reached out to the front desk of the Shores of Panama, which is run by the majority owner in the resort, not by Resort Management. They told him for any refunds to contact us because they don't own this particular condo. After going through several more calls and emails that we couldn't refund for an elevator issue, we provided him with the correct contacts at the Shores of Panama COA. He contacted them, who informed him that elevator issues are beyond their control, as well, and they would not receive a refund from them, either, but they had repairs scheduled for October as approved by the Board of the COA.
Mr. Scott replied at least two more times to Vacation *** Properties and Shores of Panama COA representatives to confirm he would receive no compensation from either of us, which we confirmed.
Our customer service representatives spoke with Mr. more than 4 times during his stay and many more times with management after the fact. We have call logs and recordings of every call. We fixed his dryer in a very timely manner, communicated with him consistently, and explained that the elevators are out of our control.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is a total fabrication. I have shared emails with SOP, Vacation Life Properties and with you folks. I asked to be moved from this unit and only received one response from ths company. The other times I called in I received no response after them telling me I would receive a follow up. Just a question? Which one of these sketchy companies is going to do the right thing and resolve the issue without passing *** blame. I paid vacation Life Properties over $2000 to stay at their condo and was totally dissatisfied. I am disgusted with this situation still not being resolved. I have every email and phone recording as well. I am the customer and totally dissatisfied with all parties. Absolutely ridiculous. I have asked for a partial refund and that is what I STILL expect
As we have stated numerous times, we are not responsible for the elevators at the Shores of Panama and we were responsive when it came to addressing Mr. issues. We spoke with him several times and told him we were fully booked and unable to move him to another condo.
At this time, our final statement is that we will not be compensating Mr. and consider this matter closed.
