Revdex.com: I have received $ from Marriott insurance company But, I do not accept the lack of customer service on the day my ski was damaged While I have been $ compensated after 5+ weeks, much too long in my estimation, I continue to hold VRI responsible for the lack of customer service on the date of ski damage Mr Gifford refused to meet with me to review the ski damage and did nothing to resolve at that time He knew I was returning to Pennsylvania within hours and probably thought I would go away Did not happen as I and only I had to chase VRI and Marriott myself I do not believe Mr Gifford would have done anything to provide me compensation for the damage done by VRI contracted bus service Mr Gifford did not identify Marriott ran the bus service It was only days later when I appealed to VRI management above Me Gifford that VRI pointed to Marriott as the bus operator as contracted services I did speak to the Marriott management within minutes of my ski damage and showed the ski damage to them on their check in counter They directed me to Mr Gifford Mr Gifford/VRI and Marriott played a "not my problem game" while pointing at each other POOR customer service The response to the Revdex.com by Mr Gifford is an effort to deflect blame from VRI and him while directing at Marriott Mr Gifford claims VRI tries to resolve customer complaints as "quick as possible" I don't believe this is truthful as Mr Gifford refused to meet with me when the ski was damaged I continue to hold VRI responsible for poor customer service and not trying to resolve my ski damage as "quick as possible" I pay my $ to VRI If their contractor (Marriott) screws up (damages) it is still a VRI problem as the customer, me, pay VRI for the service Regards, [redacted] ***

I am in receipt of your letter from the Revdex.com reporting a complaint from *** *** ***, dated Friday, April 11, I would like to respond on behalf of Vacation Resorts International at this time
First and Foremost, I would like to inform the Revdex.com that this issue
has been resolved to the satisfaction of the guest, *** *** ***On April 16, 2014, Mr*** received a check from Liberty Mutual covering the replacement of his monoski
Lastly, I wanted to make sure that the Revdex.com and Mr*** are aware that this issue did not occur under Vacation Resorts International jurisdictionMr*** is an owner at Aspen at Streamside, which is a VRI managed resort, but VRI does not manage the shuttle serviceSince this issue occurred on the shuttle, it falls under the jurisdiction of Marriott Vacation Club, who ultimately resolved this issue by submitting a claim on behalf of Mr*** to Liberty MutualVRI strives to resolve every complaint as soon as possible and were unable to in this situation due to the different management companies on the same property
