Hi Ms***,
I’d like to apologize for the delay in response, however, I just received the letter regarding this complaint this week due to our office relocating
VRI has been in communication with this customer since early based on our records regarding
their transfer request. We have received multiple documents that were prepared incorrectly. VRI cannot update our records until such time as all documents are prepared and recorded correctly. Our representative communicated with their escrow company last week and explained what was needed. They have advised that they would correct the documents and send them to us for updating our records
These owners were mailed four notices regarding their maintenance fees beginning with the first notice on October 17, 2013, prior to be submitted to collections. The letter dated March 12, was the third of the four that were sent. On April 14th, the fourth letter was sent giving the owners days to pay in full or their account would be submitted to collections per the resorts assessment, billing and collection policy. On May 28th, the account was submitted to collections. We have yet to receive any payment as they mention. I have pulled the account from collections and am removing all bad credit reporting from their credit. This process is done on the first of each month, therefor, it will be updated on November 1st,
The maintenance fees are delinquent. We will reach out to the owners and escrow company in an effort to settle the account for while we wait for the proper documentation to update our system

I purchased the week from a reseller*** *** felt bad about the situation and refunded the $which was his commisionSo he took his own profit and gave it to me since he felt bad about the terrible standards at the condoHOWEVER, the local realtor who was in charge of and responsible for the condition of the condo told me that I needed to go to the actual company Vacation International to ask for a full refundUpon me calling them again and again and being told someone would call me back, no one didWe were at the condo for nights and the first nights no one came to address our issuesBut even after the cleaning person came and addressed out issues, the condo stunkIt needed some TLCI am asking for a full refund from the management company and I would be more than happy to give *** *** back his $This is in no way his fault

I was not able to respond within the seven days due to travels However upon reviewing this reply there are a few things that do not ring correct with me.
If these letters they state were sent, they must have been sent to the second party that was hired to do the title transfer back in August of We provided the money request and the signed documents with in the time that we were asked in August and September of
Any incorrect documents sent to VRI were not of our doing and our understanding was that all would be handledI believe that VRI could have worked closer and in a more timely manner to handle a simple title change The delay and non response of VRI with the title company is the main cause of this undue charges It is nothing to them to delay a title change so that they can demand more dues from those who wish to exchange their propertyThis is not good business practice

I have owned this time share since 1995.  When I purchased the time share the exit fee was less than $200.
