My wife and I signed up for a unlimited week condo program with VTC
Right after we purchased the membership we rethought our purchase and tried to cancel the same dayWe called and were told to send something in writing, which we did, however it was past the day time limit for cancellationVTC would not work with us
I was recently approached by companies to sell my time share to them.I asked my daughter (who is our POA) to call member services to check what is in my contract (as my daughter indicated I had nothing to sell based on the contract)She called the member services and validated the contract is only for discount servicesWhen my daughter asked for the address to cancel the membership, the representative told her she could not provide that information (I had already authorized my daughter to speak on my behalf)
I would warn anyone signing up with this company to have the sales person state clearly what is the contract termsline of our contract specifically states "I have purchased a unlimited / week condominium program." I feel like this company took advantage of us and does not provide accurate information during the sales process(by the way, there is a term in the contract my daughter pointed out that states "...Vacation Travel Club is not responsible for any verbal misrepresentations made by the seller and buyer will not hold VTC liable..."

I paid $6,to Travel Club in April based on their promise of deeply discounted condominiums and other vacation travel items, like air fare and tours One of their promises was being able to stay at Disney resorts for about half the rate We live in Florida so we were flexible when we could use the Disney resorts and did NOT want peak period When I tried to book a Disney resort, the 'discount' was less than I could obtain as a Florida resident I then tried to use them for a trip to Ireland, including air fare, staying at castles and tours The only assistance they gave me was instructions to contact Collette travel and book with them I got a much better deal by contacting a travel agency in Ireland to book my trip In my experience there is absolutely nothing you gain by joining this company You can get much better deals by spending minutes on line to book a condo, airline ticket or travel tour I keep looking for a class action suit to join so I can sue for fraudulent inducement to entering into a contract
