I contacted the Absolute Small Engine part of this business after two string trimmers--one corded and one chargeable--quit in two months. They were my late father's, so I was unsure of their age. I had never bought one. I was just trying to get an idea from someone who does repairs what to consider, with so many types and prices. I certainly called the wrong place. The older-sounding man who answered was rude. He said he couldn't repair them over the phone, which wasn't what I asked. Then, when I asked if the price differences were due to features or durability, he said, "You need to do some research." (Which is what I was doing.) When I said, "I just asked a simple question," he hung up on me. This differs from any such inquiry I have ever made of someone interested in their field who has the decency to take two minutes to help someone--some of whom aren't even in business. At least I got a preview of Absolute Small Engine. When becoming a customer lost for life, it is always best to do so before spending a dime.
