Hello [redacted] , We are very sorry that guest had some bad experience with their stay Guest only stayed with us only one nightGuest had nights resfrom expedia or hotels.comThey change it to night only so they should have refund them second day money to themI ask my front desk about any complain about their room during their stay and I got report that they chk in around pm after that there was couple of complain which we send maintenance person or housekeeping to take care of itAfter that no complain We do serve continental breakfast which is type of juice, coffee, tea, type of cereal , milk, muffin, croissants, danish and fruitsThere is a fast food restraunt right next to us and we do share parking lot and all kind of other restraunts are next door walking distance Management

I did reach out to Mr L [redacted] via telephone or or around date 9/18/I left him a voicemail, but never heard back We wanted to apologize for the inconvience he experienced during his stay and offer a $4% discount we are not able to offer a full refund as he did fully render services for a full night| will wait for his reply via mail, Thank you Vagabond Inn

Hello,Guest did not tell us anything when he was leaving the hotelOnce I received his complain I ask him to send me some pictures.Which he didAfter that I called or email few times he was busy and he called us or email us few time I was busy Once we seepictures we inspect our room we did
not find anything in room but still we called pest control and did treatment of that room.As he paid his stay through ***.com I told him to call them and they will call us about refund and we will tell ***.com yes give them refundHe did not call ***.com for a long time when ***.com called here I told them to give refund.I find out also guest did not contact directly to *** for refund probably he complain to Revdex.com of san Diego for thatI might be wrongThat is why he got his refund very late On a phone I mention guest that he can get the full refund for his stay and nothing else.*** ***Manager

I have made several attempts to contact this hotel, which I did immediately after the occurrence. The hotel lacked to respond multiple times. I had also booked through hotels.com and recieved the refund. It is obvious that the hotel manager isn't caring enough to know which booking agent I used. Yes I recieved calls, however only only 2 occasions was a voicemail left. I had activly pursused a response since mid-June and have been left in the dark most of the time. I will be following my Revdex.com complaint with a lawsuit against Vagabond Inn for personal and mental damages. I do not accept the managers response and I will like to continue with my agenda and not that of a bug infested hotel.

Review: On June 30,2015 I took a hotel room for the night at 10pm, I paid for the room, The advertising on their sign and in the office stated they had internet access and television, I went to my room and the remote for the TV did not work, I was told the tower was down I was in my pajamas, I had stayed at this hotel before primarily because they had internet was in Redding for one day on business, I had crucial information to convey to the realtor involved in my business in Redding, I tried to connect to internet, I was then told at 11 pm internet was down but to use [redacted]'s web, I tried [redacted]''s unsuccessfully for an hour, And the next morning, In desperation I went to [redacted]s to be told their internet was not working for two or three days, I asked for a free night to resolve the matter, as there was false advertising, The management refused, I wrote to the owner on July 7 at [redacted] and have had no response,Desired Settlement: I have requested I have a night without charge in light of the misleading advertising, I have not heard, Otherwise a refund would be adequate, I lost money because I could not conduct business over the internet and was not told that when I checked in

Review: Hello, my name is [redacted] I decided to choose Vagabond inn because it seemed like a good and not so pricy hotel. It's reviews seemed good said it was clean and no complaints. I decided to book two rooms for Memorial Day weekend since our destination was San Diego and it was fairly close to it. On Saturday at 3 pm we got to the hotel checked in and left. My family and I got back around 9 to go to sleep already. When we all did we turned off the lights to go to sleep and my mother and I couldn't fall asleep because we started itching ... We thought it was all in our head until I called my sister in the other room and they too couldn't sleep because of how horribly we all itches and felt bugs all over us. We tried falling asleep and nothing helped.. So at 1 am we had enough and told the front desk we want a refund and they declined because they need to do a further investigation. We left the hotel with nowhere else to go because it was memorial weekend and everything was booked. vagabond inn did give us outlr next day refund ... But not the one of that night. That is my complaintDesired Settlement: 236$ plus taxes they charged us for the night we did not spend there

Review: I booked a 1 night room at the Vagabond Inn. On leaving the next morning, I went to the front desk to check out. I'm not sure what the confusion was with the front desk girl, but after leaving and returning home a few days later, I noticed that I had another charge for an extra night on my bank statement. It was explained (from the manager) that there was nothing that they could do since I filled out the paperwork for another night... That was not at all clear the morning I was trying to pay for just the night I had. I don't know where they heard that I wanted to "extend my night". The manager was extremely rude, taking his position that his staff could not be wrong what so ever, and that it was my confusion. Unfortunately this hotel is a magnet for irrefutable people, and I can see why they may think that I may have "purchased" another night "just in case", just to say that I didn't stay there at all if I didn't need it that next night... So I can see why they always have to be on their guard.Seeing as though that was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in, I can't imagine ever wanting to stay another night. I honestly belief that the front desk girl and I had a miscommunication. There's no doubt. But to practically call me a liar because I was trying to "work" the system. That's just laughable and I am, again, sorry that they have to think like that with the types of people that come through. For example, the room next to me sounded of what you would hear on reality TV in the unfortunate areas of the US. Yelling, cursing and no respect for others. Good thing I wear earbuds to sleep.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the 2nd charged night of 3/1/2014, amounting to the sum of $75.60.

Review: STAYED AT THE VAGABOND INN FROM WED SEPT 23 TO THE 24TH EVEN THOUGH WE PAID FOR 23RD & 24TH THE ROOM SMELLED SO BAD, THE FIRE ALARM HAD THE B ATTER REMOVED, THE SHEETS WERE STAINED WITH BLOOD AND OTHER MATTER, AND ALSO BLOOD SPOT ONTHE WALL, THE DOOR HANDLE WAS FALLING OFF. THE NOISE WAS SO BAD, WAS TOLD WE WOULD BE IN COURTYTARD AWAY FROM NOISE. HAVE PIC OF ALL OF THIS, THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT WORKING. MY DAUGHTER AND I BOTH WOKE UP SICK AND WITH HEADACHES. WE LEFT AS SOON AS WE CAN WE WOULD LKE BOTH OF THE NIGHT MONEY BACK ON MY HUSBANDS CREDIT CARD FOR $149.00 AND THE $86.OO IT COST ME CASH TO GET A ROOM AT THE MOTEL 6. THIS ROOM WAS DISCUSINT, AND THERE WAS NO RESTRAUNT ON THE PREMISES, AND THE FOOD FOR THE MORNING WAS UNWRAPPED AND NOT M,UCH OF ANYTHING THAT SHOULD BE THE COMPLIMENTARY FOOD. Review: I stayed at the Days Inn for three nights and it was the worst experience ever in my many years of staying in a hotel. I was on a business trip conducting training at the Allan Hancock College. When I first arrived a stack of old mattresses were posted in the front of the hotel, a definite eye-sore for any establishment. I was given a room in the back of the hotel. Though a smoking room, there was a permanent stench in the room. Hotel fixtures are worn-out, broken or stained. I finally settled down and went to sleep and was startled by someone attempting to open the door to my hotel room. I called the front desk and the gentlemen who answered the door was very nonchalant about the incident. He smudgy offered to call the police but it never materialized. I shared my experience with the College staff and they were very apologetic for an incident they were not responsible for. Shortly thereafter I received a call from 'a stranger' trying to locate their friend. I was most irritated because I felt I was being harassed. It may have been funny to the 'stranger', but it was not funny to me. I called this morning (10/23/13) about my clothing that was left in the second drawer and I was told by Rose of the front desk that the 'housekeepers' did not find it. This organization is being represented by unprofessional, dishonest and poor customer service type employees.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of my hotel charges of $207.87, plus the cost of my clothing left in the second drawer below the television. I specifically recall the following items: 1 pair of olive yoga pants, black tank top (Privacy wear), blue bathing suit, a white bathing suit cover all, dress socks, 2 sports bras, dressy black slacks, and other items no coming to mind at this time. Review: I had checked into the hotel with my younger brother while moving him to college. We had a friend come over and stop by to hang out with us. Once we checked into the hotel room we got into our room, I had left to get more luggage from the car upon arriving back to the hotel door, there was a red light on our door and my hotel wouldn't work. My brother was still inside and had to open to door from the inside. We then tried his key and it would work either. I called the front desk right away the lady (who spoke broken english) I explained her I was stuck in my room and wanted to go get food we had just drove there from spokane 15 hours. we were hungry she told me to just unlatch the inside door lock and I could leave. I explained it to her again she told me come get a new key. I went got a new key still wouldn't work. After this she called the manager who told me the battery was dead inside the door and if I wanted to leave I could. I still needed the hotel so we stayed in there. The next day I said I wanted to be compensated for the faulty door. They told me the refund had to be through travelocity I called them and they said the hotel has no record of my complaint and that there were several noise complaints as well as to many people in the room. and rudley told me to shut up get over it and it was not their fault when I called them after traveloicty said they could do nothing.Desired Settlement: I want part if not all of my $70 returned to my card. We couldn't leave the room to go eat or even use the pool in the hotel because we couldn't get back into the room. I only had two people stay in the room one friend we haven't seen in years came to hang out for a bit. If there were noise complaints why didn't the hotel call us or come ask us to be quiet. Review: When I had stayed at this hotel in June, I received several bed bug bites across my body. The manager assured me there wasn't bed bugs, but that they had sprayed just to make sure. To me, that is just discusting. They will admit to the fact that they sprayed, but they won't admit they have a problem. After months and months of trying to receive just compensation, I have only received a refund. This refund happened yesterday after 3 months of complaining. The first step was supposed to be the refund. The rest of what the manager and I discussed have not been reached yet. I have prefered to stay out of court, however if I must I will file a claim. This shouldn't happen to a single person. I am here to make sure it never happens again. I put all my trust into having my hotel room be clean and bug free. This is just disappointing.Desired Settlement: I would like so do my orginal settlement of a full refund, which has already taken place, and a $5000 check for emotional and physical damages, as well as 5 years of complentary stays in clean, bug-free rooms. If not, I will be forced to take legal action.

Worst hotel experience of my life (I travel a lot). Very, very rude staff (manager). He didn't want to answer a question about a wrongly posted credit card transaction (should only have posted it on our arrival, not 2 days before) and ended up not giving the room to us (we had two nights booked on a high demand long weekend). We could not ask any questions, it was a "sign or leave" situation (sounded like a dictatorship). Even said "you are stuck, not me". Saw him mistreating other customers as well and getting credit card details (name, card #, expiration date, security code) from a customer, on speaker mode, while I was there. Avoid at all cost!
