policies and directives of the Board of Director.
Mr. [redacted] and I spoke on Thursday, July 10, regarding his vehicle being towed. He didn't feel it was fair that he was not given a warning. I explained to Mr. [redacted] that the residents are able to park in their garages, driveways and green painted curbs. The streets are private and street parking (unless on the green curb) was not allowed. Mr. [redacted] inquired about visitor passes, because he had placed one in his car. I explained that visitor passes are not allowed to be used by the residents and if a resident was not following the Board of Director policies, the third party towing company will tow the vehicles.
I offered Mr. [redacted] the opportunity to attend a Board of Directors monthly meeting to discuss his concerns with the Board. Also, I sent him and his wife a copy of the welcome packet that is sent to each new homeowner. The packet was sent to him after his purchase. This packet contains all of the governing documents and policies of the Association. This information is also available to every owner via our Homeowner Access Site. We made sure Mr. [redacted] was able to access the site. We encouraged him to review all of the documents and contact us with any questions or attend a Board meeting.
Compliance issues are addressed every 10-14 days. Unfortunately we cannot force owners to take care of their property and can only enforce through the Associations Compliance Policy. The Board of Directors reviews the compliance issues monthly and directs the management company on the aggressiveness of non-compliance issues.
All of the Board members live in the community and have been involved with the Association for a number of years. They strive to do the best they can for their community through policies and enforcement. Mr. [redacted] has my contact information and cell phone and is encouraged to contact me at any time with questions and/or concerns. We understand he is upset and have explained the policies with him, and feel that his questions have been answered. Thank you.
