Not having received response to date, called dealer -- spoke to Matt ***.Matt indicated that Mr ***'s truck is currently being repaired at Valder's -- said they were able to get repairs "all warrantied out," and work should be completed shortly

Mr*** purchased this truck May 9, (Sold "AS IS" through Valder's Vehicles)They purchased a warranty through an independent warranty company to secure their purchaseSince his purchase, he had a couple concerns about a spring in the
door and the a/c not being as cold as he would likeWe decided we would fix those concerns at our own expense to ensure he was satisfied with his new truckSince then, we haven't heard from him on any further issues until we received this complaintAfter reading his complaint I decided to contact the customer to resolve this issueAfter speaking with them, they didn't make much sense as to what was going on so, I decided to contact B&R Transmission and find out what they foundAfter speaking with B&R Transmission they explained to me that Mr*** had a complaint about a hard bang shift once the truck is at operating temperatureB&R hooked up their scan tool to see if they could read any codes to help them diagnose the issueNo codes were found and after three separate test drives at operating temperature B&R could not replicate the issue Mr*** was havingI asked B&R transmission if there is a problem with the computer reading codes (as that is what Mr*** is concerned about)? They said no their scan tool connected to the computer and read no codes and there is no problem with the truckAfter talking to B&R it was clear to us that Mr*** has misunderstood of how a diagnostic scan tool and computer workThe scan tool read no codes because there are no codes and the truck is operating as it shouldAlso, the warranty they purchased does not cover diagnostic charges but covers any repairs completed that is listed in the warranty informationAt this time, we believe there is a misunderstanding of what is going on and Mr*** should contact B&R Transmission once again to clear up any misunderstandings
