I’ve been going to this gas station for 5 plus years because I work around the corner from it. I’ve never had a problem before but on February 2, 2018 I had a problem. I pulled into the station a little after 1PM to get gas. As usual I pushed the button to release the door on my gas tank. I checked in my side mirror to see that it had opened. After that I did the usual went back to talking on the phone not paying attention to the actual pump going into my tank. Then I heard the worker say it won’t close. I got out to see what he is talking about and it wouldn’t close. I came back to work called the dealer to see if they could check it for me. I was told it was probably the spring. I go to the Jeep dealer that day. I was told that it was broken. It was broken by either leaning on it, falling on it or shoving the pump into it incorrectly. I paid the bill and took the paid receipt back to the gas station. I also asked for the broken part so I could take it back to the station with me. On Tuesday the 6th I went back to the station to see why I haven’t heard back from anyone. I was told that the Supervisor was not in until today and that the receipt was given to him. So as of today February 8th still no response so now I’m just letting all people know be careful and watch your vehicle when you are at this station. As for me I will no longer be going there. I drive a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 35k on it; this is not from wear and tear this is from nothing but negligence and no respect for someone else’s property. I also believe if I wasn’t a female someone would have called me back at the very least.
