Phony facade
Fancy videos, and smooth talk by "Val". However, underneath both he and his staff are unprofessional and non-responsive. They fail to answer questions, and fail to reply to communications. Apparently , business is k, so they feel no need for professional courtesy.

Thank you for your feedback. Just so you know, due to the limited time we have on hand, we do not reply to lowball offers. What sort of outcome can both parties expect to have when the buyer starts with an offer of $7000 less than the asking price?
On the other hand, we respond within minutes to all leads with an informative email containing links to the carfax report, hundreds of pictures of the car in question, as well as a list of factory options. We do not follow up on this initial email. If you don't respond and don't take us up on our offer to call us if you have any questions, we assume you are not a serious buyer, or you may have found another vehicle. The end result is that we will not attempt to make any further contact.

Hope this helped explain our position, and we wish you happy hunting!

Couldn’t be happier in Kentucky
I just recently purchased my SECOND Jaguar, XK8 Convertible, Carbon Fiber Edition with 48,000+|- miles and just like the first Jaguar I purchased, the entire transaction was absolutely flawless, as was the car! Used car dealers don’t usually have the best reputations but VALEUROSPORT is positively NOT in that group!
Cristea Valentin (Val) has my utmost respect! His character, honesty, truthfulness, integrity and morality, dependability and reliability are just a few reasons I continue to do business with him! Not to mention he’s a wonderful human being and goes out of his way to make your car purchase (one to remember) for as long as you own it! If your looking for rare, hard to find, low mileage, mint condition sports car, especially JAGUARS, Val at VALEUROSPORT, is
the first and last place you need to start your search! I promise you, you’ll be glad you did!

Thank you for the great review, Jim! We wish you many years of enjoyment of this beautiful Jag!

Vehicle's condition is contrary to the internet's advertised condition of the vehicle. photos and advertised description of the 2006 Indigo Blue Jaguar XJ8 V8 Vanden Plus is not what was delivered to me in [redacted] on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Payment was made by cashiers check on 2/27/14 for car was $24,000 plus $350 for shipping. VIN# [redacted]XXXXX. CEO, [redacted]. Jaguar Dealer inspection found transmission leak, rotten bald tires, None of them match. Bad roters, and bad brakes. Wheels badly misaligned. Bad wheel bearings. Rotten windshield wipers, among other things.Desired SettlementHe can reimburse me for money spent or refund cost and shippping cost.Business Response Ms. [redacted] forgot to mention that I owe her $35 for gas in addition to all of the above. I am not making this up! Here are the facts:The Jaguar XJ8 Ms. [redacted] purchased from us is a 2006 year model with 65k miles. The car was advertised at $25900. Ms. [redacted] made a low-ball offer of $24000 which we accepted for a quick sale. Here is the advertisement we used for this car: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=XXXXXXXXXXXXLet me address Ms. [redacted] complaints point by point:- transmission leak: Ms. [redacted] conveniently left out the word "minor" as in "minor transmission leak" that she conveyed in her last email. I have personally stored this car in a garage with a painted floor which would make obvious the tiniest fluid leak. Although car was stored in said garage for 4 weeks, there were no leaks observed in the entire time. The Jaguar dealership Ms. [redacted] mentioned may have found "seepage" which is absolutely normal for a car of this age and mileage.- rotten bald tires: Although I am used to see the word "rotten" characterize food (as in rotten tomatoes), I am having trouble understanding that in the context of tires. Were they decomposing, as in someone drove through a lake of hydrochloric acid? With regards to the adjective "bald", anyone will notice that a tire depth gage shows one tire had 4/32" thread remaining while the rest had 7/32" thread remaining. this corresponds to 40% and 70% thread remaining - not exactly bald tires.- None of them match: I don't have a record of what tires were on the car. Even if Ms. [redacted] is right, nowhere in my listing was it mentioned that all tires were matching.- Bad "roters", and bad brakes. I drove this car personally for 500 miles and in no instances did I notice any vibration or squealing sound characteristic of bad brakes or rotors. Stopping capabilities are 100%. I challenge Ms. [redacted] to attach the report from the Jaguar dealership she mentioned to prove these complaints.- Wheels badly misaligned. I think Ms. [redacted] expected a brand new $97,000 Jaguar for the price of the used $24000 car!- Bad wheel bearings. How is that measurable? Was there noise correlating this fact? Can we see the dealership report?- Rotten windshield wipers. This is priceless! This only proves Ms. [redacted] expectation that this was supposed to be a new car! May I remind the audience this is a 8 (Eight) years old car with over 65,000 miles, or for those on the other side of the pond, in excess of XXXXXX km !We found Ms. [redacted] very challenging to please. The conditions of sale stipulated that car had to be paid off within 1 week of ebay purchase. Although she made a deposit on February 6th, 2014, she has not paid the remaining balance until February 27th 2014 - a full 2 weeks beyond the required deadline. We did our best to accommodate Ms. [redacted]' requests for a time extension and have not charged her the normal $120/week storage we charge our customers. Although I personally asked her to overnight us the check, she wouldn't do so unless we covered the $14 difference between priority mail and next day USPS mail, I kid you not! In addition to that, although we agreed for her to cover the cost of shipping the car, she did not want to cover a $25 difference between the $350 estimated shipping cost and the $375 actual cost. I personally paid that difference out of my own pocket to further appease Ms. [redacted]. Furthermore, we have asked Ms. [redacted] repeatedly to send us copies of the signed paperwork, to no avail. As of now, March 26th, we have still not received this required documentation. Let's look at the math: difference between asking price and paid price: $1900, waved doc fee every other dealership charges for any sales: minimum $299, waved storage fee: $240, difference paid for shipping cost: $25, Ms. [redacted]'s request that I should pay for a half tank of gas ($35?): PRICELESS!So far Ms. [redacted] has saved a minimum of $2464 over the advertised cost (which was already way below market value for this car), not counting the $14 that she wouldn't pay to overnight us the check. I personally feel this amount is more than enough to cover any and all of her grievances. We proud ourselves on the service we provide to our customers and we are always eager to please. However, as a matter of principle, we will not give in to any bullying tactics, or vile attempts at misrepresentation. If any further relations are required regarding this case, I can be personally contacted at [redacted]@valeurosport.com[redacted], ownerVALEUROSPORT LLCConsumer Response ValEuroSport agreed to lowered price as in any purchase. especially in the purchase of a car. That has nothing to do with the condition that you advertised the car. It's stated that the car has Pirelli tires. This is not true. None of the tires are Pirelli. It appears that the company switched the tires. The tires are all different. The brakes and rotors are beyond shot, and all wheels needed alignment. The transmission has a leak, your ad says no leaks. You promised a half tank of gas, the empty light was on; another lie. You claimed to have dyed the driver seat, there is no indication of any matching dye job. As far as the cost of transport, you quoted a price of $150 after getting quotes from companies, then switched. I repeated asked if I would be pleased with this car, and you kept saying yes. Well, with the loud truck sound the car was making until I had the tires changed, brake job, and an alignment and rotors replaced who would be pleased? You planned to transfer a lemon to [redacted] Final Business Response Here are the reasons why Ms. [redacted]'s claims are not credible:1.) "It's stated that the car has Pirelli tires". Said tires were advertised on the eBay listing as having between 4/32 and 5/32" remaining, even though only one of these tires shows 4/32" remaining. The tire depth gauge shows 7/32" on the other 3 tires! I actually undersold the car in buyer's favor, just hoping to pleasantly surprise buyer. Whether tires were Pirelli or not, they were advertised at 4/32"-5/32" thread remaining, which means they are due to be changed soon anyways!2.) "the brakes and rotors are beyond shot": Ms. [redacted] refuses to produce proof of any of these claims. Where is the proof?3.) "...and all wheels needed alignment". A 4-wheel alignment will cost $60 at most shops. This is normal wear and tear! Any used car, and even new cars need an alignment! Once again, can Ms. [redacted] present proof alignment is required?4.) "The transmission has a leak, your ad says no leaks." Once again Ms. [redacted] has failed to produce proof the transmission is indeed leaking. Any proof is admissible here: estimate from the shop mentioning "transmission leak", or pictures of transmission fluid leaks on her driveway coming from this car!5.) "You promised a half tank of gas, the empty light was on;" I take responsibility for this. Ms. [redacted] is indeed correct on this. I did promise to fill the gas tank to half full. Shipper picked up the car hours earlier than expected, thus not giving me a chance to keep my promise. I am ready to reimburse Ms. [redacted] for the half tank of gas ($35) as soon as she refunds me the extra $25 I had to pay out of my own pocket to ship the car out to her home. Ms. [redacted] wouldn't pay the difference between the $350 shipping quote and the actual $375 shipping charge. 6.) "You claimed to have dyed the driver seat, there is no indication of any matching dye job."I am glad Ms. [redacted] brought this up. I forgot to mention in my previous response that I spent another $100 out of my own pocket to recondition the leather on the driver seat since it was cracked and discolored. I warned Ms. [redacted] of this issue AND I volunteered to fix it for her at my own expense. THIS IS PRICELESS! Ms. [redacted] wanted/expected the repair to be of such poor quality that it would be visually obvious! Since the repair is so good that it is not obvious, she accuses me of not doing the repair in the first place! Why would I volunteer to make this car less attractive by claiming the car has nonexistent flaws??? Where is the logic here??7.) "As far as the cost of transport, you quoted a price of $150 after getting quotes from companies, ..."This is an INSANE claim! Who in the world would ship a car for 645 miles for only $150?? Nobody would drive their own car - be it a Toyota Prius -that distance to be rewarded with $150! Gas alone to cover that distance would cost more than that!!These lines are from the bill of sale presented to Ms. [redacted] on February 20th:SELL PRICE XXXXXSHIPPING TO [redacted] 350Ms. [redacted] testimony is erratic and unreliable, and I would like to make a motion to dismiss her complaints altogether. 8.) "...then switched." switched what?9.) "I repeated asked if I would be pleased with this car, and you kept saying yes.". How can you please someone who makes claims against WINDSHIELD WIPERS, ALIGNMENT, and A BRAKE JOB on a 8 years old, 65k miles?? Someone who accuses me of not doing a leather repair job because the repair is not visually obvious, even though she never paid a penny for it?? Please let me know where I can send the leather repair receipt for your review? These are all normal wear and tear issues! I never represented this car as a brand new 0 miles car! 10.) "You planned to transfer a lemon to [redacted] Ms. [redacted] claims this car is a lemon. Here is the definition of a lemon car according to wikipedia: "A lemon is a car, often new, that is found to be defective only after it has been bought. Any vehicle with numerous, severe issues can be termed a "lemon," and, by extension, any product with flaws too great or severe to serve its purpose can be described as a "lemon."".Which any one of the flaws that Ms. [redacted] enumerated can be considered as too great or too severe for this car to serve its purpose? I would like to remind Ms. [redacted] that she has not cooperated with our repeated requests to send us signed copies of the paperwork. There will be no good-will on our part until she conforms to our requests to provide us with signed copies of these documents.Lastly, please pay attention to Ms. [redacted] desired resolution: "He can reimburse me for money spent or refund cost and shippping cost. "Ms. [redacted] is asking for money, money, and more money LOL. We are required to reimburse her for money spent, or refund cost (of what?) and "shippping" cost. Which shipping cost: The $350 that was quoted, the $375 actual cost, or the $150 that she says I quoted her??In conclusion, the items Ms. [redacted] is claiming are all normal wear and tear. If her expectations are so high, may we suggest her buying a brand new car next time?Sincerely,[redacted], ownerVALEUROSPORT LLC
