This was my initial yelp review from 2011: The owner *** talked to me as if I were a perpetrator when I questioned his ADDITIONAL CHARGES of almost FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS! He had said he was at Home Depot and that would be the cost of additional materialWhen I asked why there would be an additional cost since my estimate was for "construction" not retrofitting, I apparently upset himWho am I to question him?? I'm somebody not under arrest, a PAYING CUSTOMER*** should learn to differentiate between the twoIt was as if I had no authorityHe told me I sounded mad and if I wanted to drum up a truck and come down and get it my self I couldI replied I did not at all sound mad, but I certainly am not happy being told to "drum up" an additional $498! This was after I placed the order on Oct 24th PAYING for half of the job, and was told the glass would be received in a week and they would call to schedule the installation*** insisted it would be completed in one day, correcting his "foreman" who said it would probably take daysI heard nothing from Vallejo Co for weeksNo call explaining there was a delay, nothingWhen I called I was immediately told they just got the glass today and scheduled the install the next weekSO now it is a MONTH later the crew came to complete installationThey immediately said days, now that its THANKSGIVING WEEK I really want it done in the dayThe crew said I should call the officeI first talked with ***, then ***At the very least when you make these types of gross scheduling errors, and unkept promises, APOLOGIZE!!! Never did *** apologize, and he continued to tell me on the phone the job would be completed today while he was supposedly at Home Depot to get the additional wood and materials, and his crew was walking out the doorI then heard a member of his crew talking on the phone that "she's not mad, but she's not happy about extra charges"SOOO *** hangs up with me and called his crew knowing full well he was lying again about the job being done in dayGreat way to spend Thanksgiving weekStill no apology, For the other half of my house I will go with CALIFORNIA GLASS!!! I ONLY hired Vallejo Glass because a guy from church said *** was a great guy BEWARE!
