Valley Boys Auto Sales Reviews (6)

Mr*** states that he came into our dealership three times and I was not present on any of these occasions. If I had been here I would have checked on the status of his floor mats and door repair. He did not leave any messages with my staff regarding these issues. The "We owe" statement stated BMW floor mats, not 4. I told a staff member to order the entire set but I was out of town when they arrived and did not iinspect them on arrival. He did sign a statement on 6-15-stating that he was completely satisfied with the quality of the mats. His voicemail was full and we were not able to leave a message when we tried to contact him to have his door repaired. We prefer not to call customers at their jobs. I sent him a letter on 6/25/asking him to call us to schedule door repair and also to remind him that the $in pick up notes were delinquent. He signed a note agreeing to pay two installments of $on 4-29-and 5-13-15. To this date, he has not paid this amount due. I never heard back from him. Mr*** has not produced any receipts for his brake repair or door repair. I already paid for the floor mats. I have been cheated out of $400.00.As far as the plates are concerned, I have days from the sale date which was 4-15-to submit the paperwork to the DMV. The paperwork was submitted on 5-11-15. After the DMV processes the paperwork we pick up the plates at the local DMV office. When his plates were picked up he was called but he refused to pick them up, insisting that they be mailed in which I did and paid the unnecessary postage on 6-5-15. We ask our local customers to pick up their plates at the dealership which is a very standard practice amongst local dealers. He was given a day temporary permit which would cover him until 7-15-15.My sales staff spent all day trying to get Mr*** approved through various lenders which was a challenge due to credit issues. We found a lender to accept his deal but in doing that, we took a loss on the vehicle sale of $232.79. My salesman spent his entire day and was only paid a mini commission of $because there was no profit on the deal. Mr*** chose not to communicate, has not provided any documentation and chose his own repair shop which was not part of our agreement so this should be his responsibility

Mr*** signed a pinote acknowledgement that stated that he would pay $by 7-1-16. He gave us a copy of his credit card to keep on file. He made a cash payment early on 6-17-of $100. He then came in on 7-1-and swiped his card for only $but he actually owed
$400. He said that he would pay the other $on 8-3-which he did not do. He then told me he would pay the $balance on 8/12/16. He did not call or make a payment that day. I called him and left a message on 8-13-that his payment was overdue and asked him to call me. He did not return my call. My husband then called him and he hung up on him. My husband called back and left a message on his voicemail for payment. We ran the card on file for the balance owed on 8-15-

A letter was mailed to you on 6-11-15.Michelle H***Valley Boys Auto Sales, LLC

The seller only...

made an attempt to contact me after I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.  I had been in their establishment 3 times prior to filing a complaint.  I asked Michelle about my floor mats, and she asked what was the interior color of the car.  I said grey, but either grey or black mats will work.  She said she would get them ordered.  Obviously, she didn't order them at that time.  The seller has displayed an obvious trend of cutting corners.  The safety inspection of the vehicle purchased is just one, but it is a very big deal.  This is not something that the AS-IS warranty covers, for a vehicle that is unsafe fails to comply with the warranty of merchantability since its not merchantable being unsafe.  The brakes having less than 1% of life left is not a defect. Its neglegence on the part of the seller for not addressing this prior to allowing anyone to drive it, let alone purchase it.  Another example of cutting corners is the floor mats.  Not onlhy were they not ordered in a timely manner, but they did all they could to only get me 2 mats, when the vehicles come standard with 4. They also made no attempt to arrange for the door handle to be fixed, again cutting corners.  I have a difficult time with the seller's statement of attempting to contact me on several occasions.  It wasn't until after I filed a complaint that they were able to reach me at work.  They not only had my cell number at the time of sale, but had my work number, work email and personal email.  No attempt was made by the seller to contact me by any of these means until after I filed a complaint.  I find that interesting to say the least. I was able to call my cell number from my office phone and leave a voicemail.  The seller is making excuses for a lack of effort and integrity to give me what was owed. As far as the $1100 for a brake repair goes, that was the dollar amount for the total of items that was owed to me as completed on the Revdex.com complaint form.  Here is the breakdown: $627.44 for front brakes.  Mats were costed at $111.00 and the door was estimated at $385.00.  I chose to repair the door myself. It's my car, and I can chose where to have repairs done.  If it costs more than the seller can have it done, that is of no concern to me.  No where did I say that I spent $1100 on brakes.  Its also very juvenile of the seller to accouse me of not even having the brakes repaired, instead continuing to drive an unsafe vehicle without front brakes.  This is another display of the corner cutting attitude of the seller.  The plates were mailed to me per my request, since I wasnt willing to pick them up at the seller's location.  With that, the seller did not provide the license plates to me within the timeframe required by Oregon DMV for auto dealers.  Again, cutting corners.  I did sign and agree to make $400 in deferred down payments, but that was for a vehicle that I was told had a safety inspecton completed.  That is something that just simply can't "slip through the cracks."  This put not only myself, but every other driver on the road at risk of serious injury or death.  Sincerely,[redacted]
