I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
My name is *** *** and in response to my conversation with Tom Dawson, I told him that his salesman sold me this metal building without the gasket when it was built and so the roof leaks all down the plywood ceiling *** *** felt so bad that he forgot to include the gasket went and ordered it and gave it to the contractor and it was installed months later and it appears that after the fact it still leaks I did not state that the contractor did not run the flashing out far enough I said that the apperance of the flashing is not long enough to prevent leaking MrDawson said in the second phone conversation that he would send a contractor out the look at the problem and fix it He has not kept his word*** *** said that he would come here to see the building, I have not seen him as well If you have any questions my # is 5** ***

We are sending a roofer out to Mr***'s house by January to determine if the problem is the product or installation If it is product related we will take care of the problem, however if it is installation related he will need to contact the roofer who installed the roof

special order product and we sold the product per the list we were given. When the customer came back stating he needed a gasket for the installation he was given a gasket at no charge. The customer states that the roof continues to leak even after installing the gasket. Valley Building supply did not install this product and it sound like an installation issue. In my last conversation with Mr. [redacted] he even stated that he did not think that the contractor had run the flashing out far enough. This is an issue that we have no control over since we were not involved in installation nor did we recommend the contractor. I personally feel that Mr. [redacted] has an installation problem and needs to bring the contractor back to correct the issues. If he has a defective product we would certainly be willing to take the product back and give him a refund but I do not think this is the problem. Review: Sold a metal building package to me and forgot to include a rubber gasket to keep the roof from leaking. It has leaked several places and caused damage to the plyboard and leaks inside. He ordered it months afterwards and was installed and still leaks awful.

Management was contacted and offers nothing.Desired Settlement: Pay for roof repair and or come and fix the leaks.
