My name is Tom Dawson and I am the president of Valley Building Supply in [redacted] **I am responding to case # [redacted] I have had a couple of conversations with Mr [redacted] and explained my position to himWe are a retail store and we did sell the roofing product to Mr [redacted] It was a special order product and we sold the product per the list we were givenWhen the customer came back stating he needed a gasket for the installation he was given a gasket at no chargeThe customer states that the roof continues to leak even after installing the gasketValley Building supply did not install this product and it sound like an installation issueIn my last conversation with Mr [redacted] he even stated that he did not think that the contractor had run the flashing out far enoughThis is an issue that we have no control over since we were not involved in installation nor did we recommend the contractorI personally feel that Mr [redacted] has an installation problem and needs to bring the contractor back to correct the issuesIf he has a defective product we would certainly be willing to take the product back and give him a refund but I do not think this is the problemPlease feel free to call me if you should have any questionMy office number is [redacted] and my cell number is [redacted] .Tom DawsonValley Building Supply, Inc
