Valley Car Group Reviews (6)

My #concern when selling to a car buying company like Valley Car Group was how legitimate they were*** and [redacted] were definitely that, plus generally courteous and on top of their gameThey patiently navigated the security checks I wanted to go through (accompanying them to mail out the rest of my loan payment to Bank of America, confirming cashier check legitimacy, etc.) A heads up that the overall process was clunkier than it needed to be, due to 1) VCG not being as familiar with Bank of America's loan payoff process as I would have hoped and 2) them training a new rep on my deal (he made a few flubs that I caught, but that ate up time)I assume both of these things will be ironed out as they mature as a company I'd recommend VCG to a friend for sure, in spite of the negative Revdex.com review, which seems to be based on an extenuating circumstanceI didn't experience any of the negatives mentioned in that review

First off we thought we had found some amazing deals on trucks, we had been looking for trucks for weeks and everything seemed to be way overpricedFinally we found some in our price range at VCG and went as soon as we could to lookWe looked at a few trucks and test drove of themThe second one we wanted to drive they couldn’t find the keys forThey finally found them in the truck’s ignition and the battery was now completely drainedWe didn’t hold it against them, they were all very nice and apologetic so we waited patiently, once the battery was charged a little we did the test drive and my husband liked itThey promised a new battery, full tank of gas and wash so we said okay and went ahead with the paperworkWe found a few other things that needed to be repaired and they promised to fix themThey did eventually get them all fixed even though it took some time to get calls back but overall we still felt we had a good experienceBut now...about a month after the last repair, not even days after we made the second truck payment my husband started hearing a horrible noise from the engineCome to find out it needs a new camshaft and lifters, easily a $2,or more fix, in fact one mechanic said it possibly just needs a whole new motor because of the condition! Are you kidding me? The salesman kept saying they look at these vehicles and fully inspect them, that is BS! When my husband had the first oil change done he found out the air filter was missing and it looked like the oil hadn’t been changed since who knows whenHe told them this and they just acted shocked as if that never happens and he must be lyingThere is NO WAY the truck was inspected or even touched by a mechanic before it was put on the lotI realize it’s always a gamble to buy a used car but we were lied to and we unfortunately made the mistake of trusting this placeWe now have a truck we can’t use because we can’t afford to fix itBUYER BEWARE!

If you want to sell your vehicle, RUN to Valley car group They don't check anything very obvious and easy to slip defects thru plus they give you top dollar Buyers BEWARE, Valley is great at polishing the cosmetic defects Anything mechanical is on youOnce you leave the lot you are SOLI didn't get out the driveway and low fuel lite was onGreg's response is "we don't put gas in our cars" Find out the power locks and one notch on blower fan doesn't work, Greg says "you bought as is" Truck box was repainted and Greg's response "it wasn't on the car fax" Had to put an alternator and water pump in the day after we purchased Greg whined "you should have called, we would have towed it and you paid retail $we could have fixed it for $150-$160" Assuming they eat the labor and purchase parts at dealer cost, what NEW parts would you get for that price? Used or low end non OEM parts The tow would have been 50+ miles and that in itself was cost prohibitiveGreg was well prepared to argue why Valley shouldn't reimburse the repair because in my opinion it is something he does on a regular basis "COULDA WOULDA SHOULDA" Greg reminded me several times "he only made $on the deal" Seriously, how would you stay in business if you only made $per vehicle? Bottom line: Whoever took the vehicle in trade and whoever inspected the vehicle dropped the ball and F'd up Valley wouldn't eat it or take responsibility so they passed it to the customer and have every excuse possible to make it the buyer's problemAlso, I paid cash in advance for the vehicle Plenty of time to get transfer done prior to delivery of vehicleNo title the day I picked it up, had to wait almost a week to get titleGreg is the last person I would ever purchase a vehicle from and if you do make sure you showerTo recap: SELLERS TAKE YOUR CAR TO VALLEY and for BUYERS RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!

Basically they are going to solicit you online via email text or call when they find your car sale ad They want to offer you a below average and for me, way below average price for my vehicle They under bid carmax by $3k and were about $5k under my private party offer I don’t know why anyone would want to give up THOUSAND DOLLARS to sell them your car They are going to re sell it for a profit They are basically yard sale/garage sale re sellers Craigslist buyers and re sell on eBay to fools I would never give them any business

I received a message from Valley Car Group to inquire if my vehicle is still for saleAfter exchanging information about the vehicle including the VIN for a carfax report, I was given an offer around $5,The rep from the company offered to meet me at a Chase bank within the hour to complete the transactionOn this day, I did not have the vehicle with me so I told the rep that I would give him a call the next day to set up a timeThe next morning I called the rep back and the offer dropped to $3,with no explanation
I reached out to the General Manager who forward my information onto the buying manager who could not provide me with a resolutionAt that point in time I was expecting a call from the owner of the company who I never heard from
The communication was done via text so I have evidence of the initial offer
