Valley Care Health System Reviews (1)

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/31) */
Mr*** presented to ValleyCare Emergency Room for treatmentFederal law-EMTALA states anyone presenting must be treated if they can pay or not
Mr*** received treatment and this is noted in the records for this dateHe did
refuse some lab work doctor wanted to have done to help diagnose his concern for being seen
Due to Federal law-HIPPA I cannot discuss the treatment receive as this is confidential
All records for this date show patient presented, was treatments, test ran and he did leave against medical advise
Since services were received, insurance was billed and the ER copay for the treatment received is payable
We will not waive this copay as treatment was received and records on file to validate that treatment
Thank you,
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No treatment was given and this is fraud
You can not make your own rules I will
Pursue my complaint through different avenues to expose your practices I was not giving any treatment I refused the doctors care which I did not want it is my choiceI was not comfortable with this doctor or the environment it was dirty noisy and I wasn't able to relax do to people around me in agonizing pain when my blood pressure was extremely high this complaint will remain
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/09/04) */
Mr*** got angry at the physician because he did not like what the physician stated about his illness management and walked outThis occurred after the patient had been seen and assessed by the nurse, had monitoring and one test performedThe charges billed are only for the one test and the facility charge (nursing services) and are for services actually renderedMr***'s claims are unsubstantiated based on the medical record documentation which fully supports that services were providedSince services were provided, ValleyCare has the right to charge for those services and be paidAdditionally, the balance on this patient's account has been deemed by his insurance carrier to be his responsibility under his insurance contract
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/09/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Again in my medical condition they should have not put me next to a women that was in pain and and being very vocal making my condition worse do to stress valley care in Pleasanton ER staff did not treat my condition properly that's just common senseAlso in reference to the doctors beside manners and the way he spoke to me did not ease my condition what so everYou can not dictate my choices and your charges are fraudulentI'm sure this isn't the first time according to your reviewsstarsNote do not reference me by my last name as your violating my privacyThis shows the disregard and incompetency of your staffPeople should record and video their experiences so they have proof that people like you take vantage and are very biased in their response that is not only reckless but humanely improper
