Valley Fuel Injection & Turbo, Inc. Reviews (1)

Review: I purchased a set of fuel injectors from Valley Fuel Injection (VFI) that turned out to be defective. According to the dealership where repair work was being performed, 2 of the 8 injectors weren't firing. The defective injectors were returned in mid-November and a new set purchased by another individual. I learned at a much later date that I was not credited for the original set (as told I would be) nor was it applied to the new set, which was $400.00 more. In November 2012, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. VFI acknowledged the merchandise was returned and a new set purchased. Other than correctly acknowledging the return, their response was very unprofessional, containing numerous lies and character assassinating comments and therefore, I have had no personal contact with them. On 04-04-2013, VFI issued a statement that the injectors had not been returned & said that "if the customer can produce any documentation proving that she returned merchandise, we will be more than happy to credit her account." It had already been proven by their own statement plus I submitted the new invoice showing the original injectors purchased had been returned. After 16 months, I continue to be denied that credit. I have a lot of documentation but am unable to upload it as the instructions on the next page say to do. I hope I am contacted by the Revdex.com so they can tell me where to send my documentation.Desired Settlement: A full refund of $2,181.04 for the injectors & misc. necessary parts, which all had to be repurchased 2 wks later. VFI changed their stories when responding to the credit card inquiries. They have proven themselves to liars and a business that engages in deceptive, fraudulent practices.

Response:

The response from VFI is the same one they issued on 12/20/2012, a fabrication of what happened. As per Revdex.com rep, "[redacted]", on 03-31-2014, I faxed 18pgs of documentation to my assigned case worker,

"[redacted]". How do I find out if she received them?

VFI did not include their response of 04-04-2013, whereby they state if it's proven the merchandise was returned, they "will be more than happy to credit her account". The attached letter they reference is the one from 12/20/2012. Their own paperwork states the merchandise was returned on 11/14/2012. If you have received/ read all of my supporting documents, you will see the lengths VFI has gone to in an effort to not only outright lie but to cast doubt on my credibility. The paperwork from the dealership tells you what was wrong with the first set of injectors purchased. As my letter of 05/11/2013 letter states, I watched the work being performed in my driveway every single day. I gathered the five 5-gallon buckets to pour the diesel fuel into and watched 3 guys drop the tank and thoroughly clean it out. I watched as every associated part was cleaned or replaced. I submitted a receipt for new diesel purchased. FVI wishes you to believe that we did nothing but change the injectors and add the additive. Absolutely false! They are refusing to credit me for one reason and one reason only. They're holding me responsible for the fact that they sold a set of injectors to someone whom they let walk out the door without securing payment of any kind - according to them.

Response:

After speaking with [redacted] on the phone today she said to email you that I have been dealing with this ladies complaints for over 18 mouths through [redacted] and they ruled in our favor. She said you would close the case.

If you have any questions please contact me directly.

Thank You [redacted]

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] did not "close" the case. They act as an intermediary but cannot order Valley Fuel(VFI)to issue the refund. VFI has lied and refuses to honor their own 04/04/2013 statement that I would be issued credit if I can prove the merchandise was returned. VFI proved it for me in their own responses. Additionally, I'm still waiting for confirmation that the assigned case worker received my supporting documents.
