I hired this company to install 4 intercoms and 4 ring bells, replace the lock in the front gate, I agreed to pay $*** for everything even when I knew it was too much, but since he installed a knox box required by the fire department a while ago to open the electric gate in case of a emergency and did a good job I agree in in the amount, on February 27 of 2020 he went to install everything, my first disappointing was to see the intercoms he installed are battery operated comparing to the old ones that were wire electrically, during the installation he went and asked to go in the attic and look for a transformer because he couldn't make the intercoms to open the front gate, since I wanted the job done I went to the attic trying to his job and didn't fine anything, so I told him about it and he went himself to the attic probably for less than 3 min and told me I don't see anything so finally he said I am leaving and i'll come back tomorrow which it was friday 28 to figure out how to fix it but again he asked me see if you can find that transformer so is easy to fix it, on friday he said he was going to be there at 11 am I waited until 11:30 didn't show up so I went to the store when I was in there he said he was in the apartment so I told him to wait for me, going back to the apartment I was driving behind him but suddenly he turned left took the freeway and never went back to the building, so I did stop a check for the balance of $*** since I gave him a deposit on february 26 for $465.00, I want my deposit back and another company to install new intercoms and a new lock on the front gate since the one he installed doesn't work, obviously he might know about gates but doesn't know anything about installations of intercoms, for the amount that I supposed to pay I was expecting quality intercoms not battery operated since I have to replace batteries plus are cheaper than the ones I had.. thank you for your help
