Valley Hospital Fertility Center

I had gone for a consultation to see Dr *** at the Valley Hospital Fertility Center as my husband and I are trying to conceive our second child. During my consultation, Dr *** had told me that based on the ultrasound he just did, I ovulated that month on the left side however, he thinks that based on my history of endometriosis and having done fertility treatments in the past (through another clinic), that I should use donor eggs. I told him I refuse to use donor eggs. As long I have my own eggs to use, I want to use my own. However, he had his mind made up from that first consultation that he didn't want to help me. He and his staff told me at the end of the visit, to call them on day 1 of my period. When I was late getting my period, I had contacted their office to see what I should do. They advised to go to their office for blood tests. The blood test was then repeated several days later. After a few blood tests, I got a call from his office saying they can't do anything to help me because I'm in menopause. He had me so depressed for a while. Until I went to see my OBGYN who ran additional tests and told me that I am not in menopause, that the diagnosis given to me by Dr *** was incorrect and crazy. She had told me that based on the additional tests, the reason I wasn't getting my period that month is because my thyroid level was way too low and that I need to seek treatment for it. She also advised me to see another fertility specialist which I did, who told me that I am indeed ovulating each month and I have since then been doing fertility procedures at another center and have gotten the period back on a regular cycle again. Valley Hospital Fertility Center are sending my bill of over $700 to collections and I am not paying them for the kind of improper and incorrect service they had done. I have tests that prove what the other fertility specialist and my OBGYN had told me.
