I encountered Valley Iron Works in when I was assisting a friend building a deck and wiring his Garage and workshop (Owner/Builder) They built both his patio cover and the garage/workshop and were in process of building a barn and stable The metal structure impressed me and I thought if we ever need a larger structure, steel would be the choice The owner of Valley Iron Works along with the crew was on site while we were doing the wiring
Their work looked really good and they were easy to get along with and even helpful at times with our project
When I needed a patio cover I contacted Valley Iron for an estimate The owner came out took some measurements discussed plans and gave me a quote and schedule within a dayDue to some unforeseen issues on my end of the schedule I needed to delay his start time That turned out to be "no problem" and did not impact the estimate When I was ready to proceed, he got me back in queue in a reasonable time and started the project They took care of all the permits and engineering requirements They scheduled the project such that the holes were dug and posts set in order to let the concrete cure over the weekend They completed in two days the following week We are very happy with the results Some additional information: During construction I requested several changes One did "no impact" to material and they implemented at no additional costs I extended the structure feet and the cost was extremely fair Having dealt with contractors and subs in the past, changes can be costly during construction After completion I had several questions and requests; they handled in a timely and cost effective manner We would use them again in a heartbeat
