I am writing this review in hopes that people see it and understand that they will more than likely be ripped off
Over years ago, I went to Valley King Properties in hopes that they could find me an apartmentI worked with a man at the office, who's name I am unable to recall, who told me I needed to pay them money for background and credit checksThe total for those came to under $(again, with it being over years ago I can't recall the exact dollar amount)I gave them the money and was told that based off what came back with the background and credit checks, they would be in contact with me to begin looking at apartmentsNeedless to say, I never got a call back even after trying to call the office to get a status updateI ended up finding an apartment on my own and found that there was absolutely nothing on my credit or background check that would have made them just refuse to contact me back
Back in I added a review to a famous review website that begins with a YFastforward to this year...I was contacted from a worker at Valley King Properties regarding my one star review I left themThe conversation went from being polite to eventually harassing me trying to force me to remove my negative reviewNow, this worker who is harassing me to remove my review was not even an employee during the time I went to Valley King Properties to obtain their services (or lack of, I should say) so I'm not sure why he feels the need to harass me for something he had nothing to do with or had control over all those years ago
I've read other reviews of them and have also been informed by a few friends of mine that they also had money taken from them only to never receive any apartment/home search services from Valley King Properties...so it seems like they're no stranger to stealing people's moneyAnd since the amounts being taken are fairly low, it makes it so it isn't really worth it to take them to court, only to lose more money and time off work in the processAnd because of that, I feel like more people aren't coming forward to do something about it
I just hope this review helps someone out in the future to avoid any loss of money

Valley King Properties (aka IMS) are slumlords. They are sensitive and get offended easily. They DO and WILL retaliate if they feel slighted in any way. Yes, it is against the law but they do it anyway. This is based on personal experience as well as other complaints that have been filed against them. Seriously, save yourself from future BS. Rent from someone else.

Over 6 years ago, I went to Valley King Properties in hopes that they could find me an apartment. I worked with a man at the office, who's name I am unable to recall, who told me I needed to pay them money for background and credit checks. The total for those came to under $100 (again, with it being over 6 years ago I can't recall the exact dollar amount). I gave them the money and was told that based off what came back with the background and credit checks, they would be in contact with me to begin looking at apartments. Needless to say, I never got a call back even after trying to call the office to get a status update. I ended up finding an apartment on my own and found that there was absolutely nothing on my credit or background check that would have made them just refuse to contact me back.

Back in 2014 I added a review to a famous review website that begins with a Y. Fastforward to this year...I was contacted from a worker at Valley King Properties regarding my one star review I left them. The conversation went from being polite to eventually harassing me trying to force me to remove my negative review. I just hope this review helps someone out in the future to avoid any loss of money.
