Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below First I question the validity of his video systemHe states to young males in his responseIn fact my daughter had male friend with her and her girlfriend with her boyfriendHe make's it sound like a group of hoodlums running into his facilitySince my daughter has never had to deal with this type of operation she did not know the procedures for getting her car backShe began walking to her car and was yelled at to come to the windowShe compliedHe also indicates through the response that my daughter had previous knowledge of the damage to the rear bumperIn fact I told my daughter to inspect the car for damageThey walked in toward the front of the vehicle then to the back As for her friends, she is a year old girl and brought her friends for support and obviously needed a ride to the facilityThe owner also seems to have forgotten his statement he made while looking at his towing footageThis can be simply resolved if the tow owner will supply ALL towing footage of the vehicleHis stated on the phone to me that the car was pulled out from the rear endHe was very specificHe also said the car was not secured properly and that my daughter must have not set the e-brake hard enoughHe also said he terminated the driver involvedI have a couple of questionsWhy would he terminate his driver if there wasn't an issue?Second, why would he order me a new bumper if he believed he wasn't at fault? I do not believe this owner will admit fault and I will need to file in small claims courtThis isn't about the cost of a bumperI can have that replaced today, it's about this company being accountable for damaging my vehicle Regards, [redacted]

I did not consider anyone involved hoodlumsSimple problem solution was that we made a agreement on the phone and you admitted, not your daughter, the bumper was previously damagedTo solve the "issue" we agreed I would have the bumper replacedSince then, you changed your mind and wanted it fixed for $at your choice of business after we agreed it'd be fixed, done, and over with locally here where she parked itBeing that you said the bumper already had some damage on it I still agreed to replace it to end the issue which you have now chosen to take to a excessive level because you changed the agreement we made as men over the phone when we discussed the issue. We tow a lot of carsWe have never had a damage claimI am not denying our agreement, I am willing to fulfil what new agreed on over the phone when we talked which is to replace the bumper I said id orderI can't even confirm 100% this is our fault, but to be fair I offered and you acceptedI feel that dragging this out isn't productiveIt's not the end of the world, the car is drivable, and this can be handled like adults as we agreedIt's take a hour or two to install and likely already be painted when it gets thereThe bumper cost is low, the paint isn't expensive, to take things to this level makes no senseI will gladly have the cars bumper replaced at Toms auto body in Delafield as I had planned already when you agreed that would be okHe's been around forever and works with insurance companiesIt'd be done quickly and perfectly

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Please let the owner know we have decided to accept his offer and will contact him with the vin of the vehicle to ensure the proper bumper and paint is ordered. I would ask that if possible the work be performed on a Saturday to minimize my costs.

I did not consider anyone involved hoodlums. Simple problem solution was that we made a agreement on the phone and you admitted, not your daughter, the bumper was previously damaged. To solve the "issue" we agreed I would have the bumper replaced. Since then, you changed your mind and wanted it fixed for $800 at your choice of business after we agreed it'd be fixed, done, and over with locally here where she parked it. Being that you said the bumper already had some damage on it I still agreed to replace it to end the issue which you have now chosen to take to a excessive level because you changed the agreement we made as men over the phone when we discussed the issue. We tow a lot of cars. We have never had a damage claim. I am not denying our agreement, I am willing to fulfil what new agreed on over the phone when we talked which is to replace the bumper I said id order. I can't even confirm 100% this is our fault, but to be fair I offered and you accepted. I feel that dragging this out isn't productive. It's not the end of the world, the car is drivable, and this can be handled like adults as we agreed. It's take a hour or two to install and likely already be painted when it gets there. The bumper cost is low, the paint isn't expensive, to take things to this level makes no sense. I will gladly have the cars bumper replaced at Toms auto body in Delafield as I had planned already when you agreed that would be ok. He's been around forever and works with insurance companies. It'd be done quickly and perfectly.

First I question the validity of his video system. He states 3 to 4 young males in his response. In fact my daughter had 1 male friend with her and her girlfriend with her boyfriend. He make's it sound like a group of hoodlums running into his facility. Since my daughter has never had to deal with this type of operation she did not know the procedures for getting her car back. She began walking to her car and was yelled at to come to the window. She complied. He also indicates through the response that my daughter had previous knowledge of the damage to the rear bumper. In fact I told my daughter to inspect the car for damage. They walked in toward the front of the vehicle then to the back.  As for her friends, she is a 19 year old girl and brought her friends for support and obviously needed a ride to the facility. The owner also seems to have forgotten his statement he made while looking at his towing footage. This can be simply resolved if the tow owner will supply ALL towing footage of the vehicle. His stated on the phone to me that the car was pulled out from the rear end. He was very specific. He also said the car was not secured properly and that my daughter must have not set the e-brake hard enough. He also said he terminated the driver involved. I have a couple of questions. Why would he terminate his driver if there wasn't an issue?. Second, why would he order me a new bumper if he believed he wasn't at fault? I do not believe this owner will admit fault and I will need to file in small claims court. This isn't about the cost of a bumper. I can have that replaced today, it's about this company being accountable for damaging my vehicle.

In response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, I did contact him early evening after this review was posted to our google page because I felt that it was misleading. This vehicle was illegally parked without a parking permit and removed from Bonnie Lane Wood field Heights apartment complex. The footage...

context of this complaint isn't accurate, as the easiest most practical way to view the footage from the trucks is via the mini SD card in the truck itself. This being said, his daughter called us this same morning to come and get her vehicle that was impounded. I verified via recorded footage at the impound lot that the daughter came with 3 or 4 younger males and proceeded through and past the no trespassing signs to the vehicle, at which time two office staff/drivers went outside and directed them to check into the office before touching any vehicle (which is required to verify ownership of a vehicle or proof they are the registered owner). At this time they proceeded to the window and decided on having her father, the owner in this complaint, send a text photograph of his ID to verify that he was indeed the owner and ok in releasing the vehicle to the young lady. After ownership was established, the office explained that (like posted at the window), all impounded vehicles are cash only. They then proceeded to the ATM in town and returned. When they returned, based on the audio/video footage, you see them come to the window right away and proceed with payments. They were given a paid receipt for this service. At that time, as recorded on audio and video cameras, all four or 5 of the individuals went directly to the vehicle that was parked backed in at the rear of our lot, and went DIRECTLY to the back of the car, never looking at the front, roof, hood, sides, etc. Literally went IMMEDIATELY to where the claimed damage was. At the point of seeing this I had to serious rewind and watch it 5 times. After the direct walk to the rear of the vehicle, they were hanging out and told to leave. They had paid for the towing service, received a paid receipt, and at this point were hanging out in the bullpen area around other vehicles. I called the complainant the night of his review and stated that it "was possible" but unlikely, as at no time is the cars bumper near the truck. I verified the truck not being damaged. He did also state that the rear bumper had some minor previous damage, at which point we discussed and agreed that I would and did purchase a bumper (OEM), and we'd have it painted and repaired at a shop we tow for to make it cost efficient. After his daughter returned a day later he was upset more, changed and added to reviews, and demanded repairs at a body shop in Wisconsin rapids. I told him he needed to contact his insurance company as we verbally agreed it would be fixed here and I would buy a new bumper even though it was "previously damaged". I talked to his insurance as well. I explained this to them, and they did not return any call after knowing I agreed to fix it locally.
