Dear Revdex.com Representative,
Please accept this answer as final and resolved with respect to Mrs....

[redacted]’s complaint.  It is in my humble opinion, that the details Mrs. [redacted] filed with you on 10/22/14, have been grossly mischaracterized.  Although I can completely empathize and understand Mrs. [redacted]’s frustration (and almost side with her decision for a refund), I would like to address the fact that Mrs. [redacted] nor Mr. [redacted] were ever mistreated or taken advantage of by any means.  In fact, it is I that feels cheated out of time and effort that was put into arranging and preparing the job site for work to be completed.  In any event, it should come as no surprise that weather and other factors can impact any outdoor project.

Mrs. [redacted]’s Complaints:
It is Mrs. [redacted]’s complaint that I “no showed” 7 times.
·         It is my contention that this is NOT true.  However, I did expect to perform work at their residence within a time frame where I set an expectation to complete the project and I completely understand her frustration.  I cannot predict the future and I had no reason to believe that a chain of events like at the [redacted]’s would have happened.
The fact remains, however, that unfortunately, Mrs. [redacted]’s husband, Mr. [redacted], had indicated that he didn’t want to have the work done after all and I had arranged other work to fill-in that gap (setting the completion date further out).  When I had a discussion with Mrs. [redacted], she then assured me that they did, indeed, want the work to be completed and I was to deal solely with her as Mr. [redacted] can often become irritable/emotional (with outbursts) and have moments of senility where she is now mulling the idea of admitting Mr. [redacted] into senior care.  I was not privy to any of this information prior and had initially been dealing with Mr. [redacted] who seemed to have had all of his faculties.  Additionally, I was in constant contact with the [redacted]’s and on only one occasion did they not get a phone call from me as I thought it would be entirely obvious that work would not be done during any rain storms.  Additionally, between waiting for their property to be flagged and marked for utilities, torrential downpours and an “on-again-off-again” type of situation on their part (and again, that fact ultimately setting the completion date further out), it’s no wonder why the [redacted]s were so exacerbated with the entire experience to the point of demanding a refund to which I understood their frustration and complied by giving them back $1,700.00 in cash.  However, that should not be a transIation into me handling the situation poorly.  I might add as well, that I did NOT take a single cent for anything I performed for them nor advised for them at their property.

It is Mrs. [redacted]’s complaint that I “blocked my phone”.

·         It is my contention that this is NOT true.  However, I can again, completely empathize and understand her frustration when I put myself in her shoes and I accept responsibility for my reliance upon technology.  The fact is, during the sprinkler blowout season, my phone can only handle and allow so many calls and messages at once.  My voicemail was unfortunately full and I didn’t realize it.  I believe she likely ran into this unfortunate experience when (on maybe one occasion) she tried contacting me.  I never attempted avoiding, ignoring, blocking nor even failed to return any calls to her.  In fact, our discussions were never unpleasant as there wasn’t a reason they should have been.  Frankly, I’m surprised she contacted Revdex.com as there was never an instance of me not obliging to her request for a refund.  Additionally, she asked that we readdress this project in the spring as she was having quite a time managing Mr. [redacted].  Having left the [redacted]’s on good terms, the truth is, I feel blindsided by this complaint as it feels unfair and unreasonable for us to have had resolved this situation amicably to then, after the fact, receive a complaint that is completely mischaracterized.

It is Mrs. [redacted]’s complaint that she feels “scammed”.

·         It is my contention that this is NOT true.  I can’t even begin to hardly understand how Mrs. [redacted] could feel “scammed” with me having completely refunded her money in cash totaling $1,700.00 (she paid me in a check to which I needed to ensure was cleared funds) weeks before ever receiving this complaint.  I would have to imagine that scammers likely wouldn’t remain in contact with their customers and refund monies in full (in cash).  Additionally,  if she, indeed, felt scammed, why invite me to speak with them in the spring about performing the work?  I believed this entire situation was resolved only to find out that it was ultimately going to be mischaracterized in a complaint that is unfounded.  I vehemently, reject any notion or allegation of scamming.  I am an honorable, Christian man with integrity and I would never do such a thing.  I humbly request that this matter be filed as resolved (having complied with a request for a full refund of $1,700.00 and if possible, be noted as frivolous and baseless.
Sincerely,
