Hello, My name is Jesse F [redacted] and I am the manager of Valley Laundry and Pawn in Kirtland, NM I received a letter stating that there was a complaint about my business and I am responding to that complaintFirst let me point out that my business is a pawn shop so most things that come through our store are second hand and we are sure to tell customers to make sure that the item they are going to buy are in acceptable condition because all sales are final We have signs that say all sales are final in more than one place in our establishment On the day that Mrs [redacted] came in she was looking at the purses saying that it would be perfect to put her phone in My cashier reminded her to check to make sure that the purse was in suitable condition as all sales are final Mrs [redacted] look over the purse, zipped and unzipped the zipper two to three times, and then made the decision to purchase the purse Mrs [redacted] returned the next day or the day after that and demanded that she receive a full refund because the zipper had brokeI told her that I would give her store credit but I wouldn't give her cash back At that point she got mad, cursed at us in Navajo, and walked out the door and left the purse there with us Latter that afternoon her daughter came to get the purse and she was cursing at my employees calling them all sorts of filthy names in front of other customers Afterward she took the purse and stormed out of the building I stand by the policy and decision to not give her a cash refund If Mrs [redacted] would like to bring the purse back and receive a store credit for the $plus tax I am more than happy to do so, just as I was when this incident first occurred If there is any questions please feel free to give me a call at our store between am and pm mon-friThe number is###-###-#### or I can be reached at this email at anytime thank you, Jesse F [redacted] manager of Valley Pawn
