In response to the complaint on 7/7/2015, One of our store clerks took a call from the customers daughter for serviceShe explained the house was owned by her motherIt was communicated to us the mother was to be billedHe took the information so he could write up the callAfter getting off the phone he realized there was a discrepancy in the accountThen one of the clerks talked with the customer and explained that there was a bill from in the system that was not paid for some reasonAfter that call I talked with the customer on the phoneI believe she had called inI had been in the field so it was the first I was aware of the situationI looked in the system to verify what we had foundIt shows a bill from that was partially paidAt that time I didn't have the detail of the invoice because of it's age the detail had been purged from the systemI explained I didn't have the detail at that timeThe customer was upset that service had been delayed because of the situationI attempted to explain that yes we do not continue to work for customers with outstanding bill's but there may be another reason for the situationThe customer mentioned our book keeping wasn't up to par and stated she would just go elsewhere for her serviceIf the call hadn't ended there I would have finished explaining that I could go back through the paper copies and try to get more information on what the bill was for so we could work through the situationAfter investigating I found a copy of the billIt appears to be for the repair of a furnaceA partial payment was appliedThe original bill was for $There appears to be a payment $about three months after the bill was issuedThe bill was in the customers name at the address the current work was to be done atWe would be glad to discuss this further in order to resolve the issue [redacted] VP
