Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/24) */ The Customer came into are location making demands as to how to fix his vehicleWe advised the customer that we would need to determine what is wrong with the vehicle before we could request his extended warranty company to pay for itTo accomplish this task the customer approved us to charge the A/C system also adding dye to pinpoint where the customers leaks where coming formThe customer was upset and felt we should have to pay for it not him but excepted the chargesThis customer left here and went to another Chevrolet dealer [redacted] Brothers Chevrolet and created problems there as well as [redacted] Brothers Chevrolet where he is also not allowed to returnI was contacted by Roger the service manager from there and was advised that the customer was being (unrealistic) and left an unpaid preauthorized bill for his deductible that was never collected thereAll work that has been done on his vehicle was done and is completeIf he wants further work done or feels that the break pedal we where unaware of him having a problem with we feel the customer needs to find somewhere other than Valley Sales Chevrolet, [redacted] Brothers Chevrolet to do soThe customer is asking for a level of service from both of us dealers and to take care of charges that are not covered under this customers extended warrantyWhen I talked to him he became very argumentative with me as I was attempting to explainI advised him that all work on your vehicle has been provided that you have paid for and is completeI advised him after being contacted by [redacted] Brothers Chevrolet and that this same behavior had taken place there and he was asked to not returnI than made the decision that it was best for all parties if he could find someone to provide the services that both Chevrolet dealers have attempted to provide to him and that it was time to seek somewhere elseHe began to name call and I advised him that the conversation is over withThe customer has a nationwide warranty on work provided that can be done at any Chevrolet dealer however we would ask at this time if he would find someplace other than here and [redacted] Brothers to please do soWe do not want to argue or fight but rather allow the customer to find a repair shop that can reach this customers expectations of the service he is looking forWe can not and will not be screamed at and have threats made against us all in attempt to provide the customer with the services his extended warranty requires to get covered Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/06/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) First of all I was arguaing because they were telling me its for a ac system to be leeking so they didnt want to find the leak under my warenteeif you look up a AC system is a closed system and a closed system means it should not leak anythingI was arguing paying the for the recharge as I have warentee that has a deductable that I should payI didnt feal that I should pay anything other than the as a leak is a leak and needs to be found and reapired under the warentee they dont want to take the time to find it! I paid because they told me to bring it back in weeks so they can find the leak and at that time I would be refunded the amount minus the deductableAnd after I called they refuse service now! I would have never paid for this if I was going to get scamed on paying and being told to check for leaks in weeks just for them to decline to work on it after they took my money! I can bring it back and they can pull all the freon back out and diy give me my money and I will go elsewhere Also after they replaced the master cylinder it has a loose noise and they refuse to work on it! If I have break issues causing acident I will get a lawyer! I am asking for them to pay for all charges to get both issues resolved since they took my money and didnt fullow there end of our deal when I paid the money I was told to bring it back in weeks and would get refunded when they find the leak! [redacted] was a seperate issue that I was disputing as I would not pay untill I find out what my warentee company wanted to do as they didnt do all the repairs that were needed at that time! I went to pay that and they couldent even figure out why I had a bill and had to call me the next day! Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/07/07) */ The customers erroneous allegations are completely untrue and do not represent the truth in how things where explained to Mr [redacted] The customer had A/C leaksThe fluid that leaks is clear to the eyeThe system will not run until fully charged which the customer authorized us to charge and at that time install a dye to detect where the leaks may be coming fromThis did not include a post visit included in this customers costThe reason this needed to be done as his extended warranty needs to determine what is broken and if it is covered under his warrantyWhy he accepted these chargesThis work was completed and paid for by Mr [redacted] The customer can take his vehicle to anyone to now detect the leaksAny visit or any where he goes there will be a charge for the customers time in inspecting as there would be hereIf the customer is having problems with his master cylinder as I have already indicated he can take his vehicle to any Chevrolet dealer nationwide except for here at Valley Sales of Hutchinson and [redacted] Brothers where we have expressed are desire to no longer assist him with his vehicles repairsWe have the right to refuse serviceWe are extending that right to Mr [redacted] As the customer has agreed we are not the only dealer that he has had significant problems with in trying to assist him with correcting his issuesAt this time all services that the customer has been paid for have been 100% providedIf he now wants to have his A/C system checked now that we have assisted Mr [redacted] with charging the A/C system and adding the tracer dye to it he can do thatHe just can't do it here or [redacted] as we will not deal with his unprofessional behavior within are dealershipsThe customer has been clearly advised thisWe will not be refunding him for work that has been completed and explained to him before the work was doneThis work on his vehicle has been reviewed along with his bill to check for proper charges and to look for any problems in the billingAt this this time the Mr [redacted] charges look to be accurate and the correction of his vehicle on RO#the correction to Mr [redacted] vehicle reads the following " RECHARGE ADD 2.32LBSADD DYE OUT OF VENTS, NO NOISE HEARD AT THIS TIME ,RECHECK FOR LEAKS NONE FOUND AT THIS TIME" No where is it indicated that we owed Mr [redacted] any further inspections/services of his vehicle or any services that that he was charged for where not providedAt this time I would request that this case be closed! We hope that Mr [redacted] can find a dealer that he can assist him with whatever repairs he needs at this time
