12.8000001907349px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Thank you for alerting us to the need for tighter quality control.  We 've discussed this with our processors and have reminded them to check all boxes as public safety is always a top priority.  We appreciate any opportunity to improve our system and address any errors that we are making.  As I understand it, a member of our management team, the assistant manager was the person that you spoke to and who tried to remedy the situation by offering either a  store credit or refund of the portion that you returned.  However, as I read your letter, maybe the point was that you were not seeking a refund, but wanted to be sure that we were aware of the situation and that you wanted to be sure that someone heard you.  I apologize for the misunderstanding and can assure you that we have taken appropriate steps  to make our employees more aware. 
To address the other points that you mentioned:  1.  We have restrooms available for our customers.  You only need to ask as they are not located in a public access area, but one of our employees will escort you to the facilities. 
2. We are a private thrift store and do not receive donated goods.  We purchase the  items in our store through one of our non-profit partners.  3. The signs in our store state our policies or local ordinances that we are required to post.  In the case of local or state ordinances, the ordinance number is cited.

Review: on 2/14/15 I PURCHASED A SEALED PLASTIC BAG CONTAINING TREE BAXES OF ENVELOPES. WHEN I GOT HOME AND OPENED A THE BOX OF SMALL ENVELOPES I FOUND THAT IT DID NOT HOLD ENVEPOLES AT ALL INSIDE. WHAT THE BOX HELD WAS PICES OF CUT UP CARD BOARDS. HOW CAN THIS COMPANY SELL PRODUCTS TO THE PUBLIC WITHOUT CHECKING IF WHAT THEY RECEIVE AS DONATIONS CAN HARM THE CUSTOMERS. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THE MANAGER REFUSED TO COME DOWN FROM HIS OR HER OFFICE TO ADDRESS THE COMPLAINT. I RERVED IN THE U.S.M.C. AND PERHAPS I,M OVER REACTING BUT I DO BELIVE THAT PUBLIC SAFETY SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOULY IF PASSING ITEMS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN CHECK AS SAFE. I ALSO NOTICE SIGNS ON THE WALLS THAT ORDENANCE NUMBER IF THEY ARE ENVEN LEGAL TO BE PLACED AND THIS ONLY SOME OF THE VIOLATIONS THAT I NOTICED. FOR A BUSINESS THAT IS DEPENDANT ON PUBLIC DONATION THEY SHOW THAT THEY DON,T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS OR THEIR SAFETY.Desired Settlement: I BELIVE THAT AN AUDIT,EMPLYEES WORK BENIFETS PLUS WHY DON,T THEY HAVE RESTROOMS FOR THE PUBLIC WHEN THEY HAVE MORE THAN 8 CASH REGESTERS. THIS IS ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL OF THE MATTER AND THE WAY THE WOUL TRANSACTION WAS HANDLE. I WOULD LIKE A NOTE THAT BETTER STEPS WILL BE TAKEN TO INSURE THE SAFETY AND COMFORT OF THE CONSUMERS.
