OF AFTER MARKET PARTS. THIS REPAIR WAS DONE AT NO CHARGE TO HER. WE DID NOT NOTICE THAT SHE HAD BEARING PLAY AS INDICATED BY THE SHOP WHERE SHE RECEIVED HER SECOND OPINION.WE REPAIRED HER IMMEDIATE CONCERN OF FLUID LEAKING FROM THE TRANSMISSION. DUE TO HER EXTREME HIGH MILEAGE ON THE VEHICLE SHE VERY WELL MY HAVE OTHER ISSUES IN THE TRANSMISSION( IE: BAD BEARING AND OR WORN OUT PARTS INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION THAT IS CAUSING THE SEALS TO FAIL AT A HIGHER RATE THAN NORMAL.) Review: I brought my car into Valley Tire on 5/22 and they assessed it as a tranny axel leak. I left it with them for the weekend and recieved it back on 5/26. I experienced the same leak on the weekend of 7/9-7/11 and called them they scheduled my appointment for 7/20 and they told me it was the same thing and they were now going to get the factory part for it. I just recently started experiencing problems again and I gave them a call on 10/9. He told me to go to a shop I trust and have them take a look at it and if they find that it is neglectful on their part they will see what they can do. I visited a shop in my hometown of [redacted], and they looked at the car and came to the conclusion that the bearings, on both sides, through the Transmission were too loose and that is where the leak came from. He also explained that that normally happens on vehicles with a large number of miles on it. I gave VT a call again and had the mechanic at [redacted] speak with him and he explained it. Then he spoke with me and said "once I saw how many miles were on it I thought that could be the problem but he never looked at anything more than replacing the tranny axel seal. I expressed I wanted a refund for that service that was still not fixed and he told me to give him a call in the morning. When I called him he explained how they replaced the Tranny Axel seal twice and they did it for free the second time and on their time and then proceeded to tell me that he would not be giving me any refund.Desired Settlement: $187.51
