installation of the engine, then and only then could we test the rest of the car. Much to our surprise it had a bad transmission. This is a very rare occurrence and could not be foreseen with a bad engine. Although we did nothing wrong, I felt bad for the customer and offered her a variety of options for the transmission. Once again she chose the most expensive option with the longest warranty and would not consider any other options. Because I felt bad for her I offered to reduce the price of the transmission $1500.00 out of the goodness of my heart. The job went well. The final product is good. Her long warranty is in place. I can't think of anything else I could have done. Her relative who is writing the complaint told me that I should have been able to tell that she was getting on in years and maybe should no longer be driving and that I should have been able to make this determination and denied her repairs based on my medical evaluation. She seemed perfectly fine to me in every respect. He said she is very good at concealing her condition and the family has had problems with this in the past that she fools everybody. I explained that I am not a medical doctor. This was not a good enough explanation for him.
