I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.MrTaylor,You sold us a golf cart based on a photo you sent me You sent me a photo of a golf cart and I choose the golf cart you sent me photo of in white During this email you never once stated the model you were giving me look different so we assume we are getting the golf cart we discussed based on a photo Again, I have all emails with our correspondence which I gave to the Revdex.com showing what you offered me and what I received I also have all parties phone records showing we called you on several occasions starting after the cart was delivered so the fact we are months down the road is your fault Now, if you would like to me correct the items mentioned in our conversations at your cost then we will keep the cart if you repair to make look the cart we purchased based on the photo provided by you then fine we can accept I just can't wrap my mind around how you cannot see this is your fault 100% First for providing me a cart different from the one discussed in the email Second for not following up with any of the complaints from myself, [redacted] and [redacted] ***, all managers at different levels within our company Regards, [redacted] ***

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
We have made several attempts on multiple occasions and spoke with MrTaylor(myself, maintenance and my regional manager) on many occasions trying to correct the issue upon receiving the golf cart. He has either dodged our calls or responded with "I will look into it" and get back with us. He never does, not even when our management company reached out. Our sister site purchased a golf cart because of my referral and no they will not be doing business with MrTaylor in the future. Taking a call from a maintenance technician at a sister property doesn't help my problem at *** ***The fact is MrTaylor provided me with pictures of a golf cart and when we decided on the golf cart as shown in the photo he was suppose to deliver that cart and he did not. You will notice in the photo he provided the golf cart has headlights and tail lights and the one he delivered does not have either. Our first complaint with MrTaylor was the day the golf cart was delivered and we noticed a big hole in the bumper. The delivery guy said he could come out and fix it in the near future. We called numerous times and still no one has come to the property to repair. He has not shown any desire to come and make good on our purchase. Three managers within our company have all made contact with MrTaylor and still no solution. Please review photos provided and issue refund based on the documentation you provided us for initial purchase(photo) is not the cart we received

The golf cart in the photo that you attached in your last email is not the golf cart that you requested and paid forYou requested, paid for, and received a golf cart with a White body,White Seats and a White TopThe golf cart in the photo that you sent me has a white body and Beige seats and Beige Top. You did not request nor pay for the light package to be installed on the White Golf Cart with White Seats and a White TopIn the attached picture that was sent on 1-18-you will see a young lady in a White Golf Cart with White seats and a White TopThis cart does not have the light package on the front because the light package was not paid forThe invoice for the golf cart should not have been paid for and approved if lights were requested and not listed on the invoiceWe are very careful to review all invoices prior to paying for themValley View Golf Carts would have been happy to add to the price of the invoice the light package if requested to do so and if they were paid forValley View Golf Carts would be more than happy to install a light package on property for $We would waive our service see of $to work on a golf cart that is over an hour awayBut I am sorry to say that we cannot offer a refund on a cart that has been in use for over monthsValley View Golf Carts delivered exactly what the customer requested and paid forIf I would have delivered to you the golf cart that you attached in your previous email then we would be arguing that I sent you a White Cart with Beige seats and a Beige Top and you paid for a White Cart with White Seats and a White Top.Thanks, Dillon TaylorValley View Golf Carts

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Mr. Taylor,You sold us a golf cart based on a photo you sent me.  You sent me a photo of a golf cart and I choose the golf cart you sent me photo of in white.  During this email you never once stated the model you were giving me look different so we assume we are getting the golf cart we discussed based on a photo.  Again, I have all emails with our correspondence which I gave to the Revdex.com showing what you offered me and what I received.  I also have all parties phone records showing we called you on several occasions starting after the cart was delivered so the fact we are 6 months down the road is your fault.  Now, if you would like to me correct the items mentioned in our conversations at your cost then we will keep the cart if you repair to make look the cart we purchased based on the photo provided by you then fine we can accept.  I just can't wrap my mind around how you cannot see this is your fault 100%.  First for providing me a cart different from the one discussed in the email.  Second for not following up with any of the complaints from myself, [redacted] and [redacted], all managers at different levels within our company.

We have spoken to someone at a sister property of [redacted] and have assured them that we will fix the issue of the lack of speed with the golf cart at [redacted]. We can fix the issue at a reduced price but we will not be able to warranty something that has been used for 8 months. Things happen...

with golf carts during use and even though we offer a warranty with our carts it's a very short term warranty depending on the type of cart that was purchased. This particular cart because of the age and price of the cart had a 30 day warranty. Newer reconditioned carts have 90 or 180 day warranty's. New carts have 4 year warranty's.  The cart that was delivered was the one that was selected by the buyer. Golf Carts have serial numbers and that is how we track them. Looking at a bunch of golf carts that are all the same and not knowing the serial numbers they all appear the same unless they are different colors or models. Here is the series of events that answer the question of payment and waiting for over a month for delivery:Purchase order issued for golf cart on 5-3-17Payment mailed for golf cart on 5-12-17 Payment received of golf cart 5-19-17Golf cart was not delivered (it was being built) on the date that the customer indicated the problem occurred. 5-17-17 at 12:00am. Golf Cart was delivered at the end of May and then we received an email on 7-11-17 that stated the golf cart you delivered was not the one we selected? The only information in the email was that the golf cart was not the one selected. No mention of any issues. There are no further emails. The electric cart most likely needs a speed sensor as it is magnetized and can crack or break. Since the cart runs well but lacks speed that is most likely the issue. We have been in business for 15 years and have thousands of happy customers. Over the years we have greatly appreciated the business that we have received from [redacted] and we are sorry that we will no longer be doing business with them. Our company also sold a cart to [redacted] who is a sister property of [redacted]. We have been working with a gentleman named [redacted] and it has been an absolute pleasure to have him as a customer. We hope that we can retain [redacted] as a customer even if we do lose the business of [redacted]. We do our best at Valley View Golf Carts to make all of our customers happy. With thousands of carts sold and an excellent Revdex.com rating we hope that any potential customer can see through the review and allow us to help them. We have committed ourselves to excellent customer service for our 15 years but we also understand that it's impossible to please everyone. Thank you, Dillon TaylorValley View Golf Carts

Review: Set up adeal with VVGC to upgrade from our current EZGO golf cart to a newer used Club Car with more power. Things looked good and they were very good to work with initially. They agreed to take our EZGO and give about 1K in a trade for the club car and we give them an additional 3K. The trade was made and the club car seemed OK. Later that day when we plugged it in to charge the charger did not function and we contacted them and they arranged to come out the following week which they never did for various reasons. The situation became worse when we noticed the poor condition of the tires and and audible rubbing in the rear suspension after VERY minima use(less than a half hour). We called several times to get the issues settled and eventually they stopped taking our calls or returning messages. We are out nearly 3K and we have a very unusable golf cart in storage when we aggreed the deal was for an "upgrade".Desired Settlement: 1) Take the one they dropped off and replace it with the "upgrade" that we agreed on. 2)Give us our old one back and the $ we gave them. 3) Come out and replace the charger, tires, and fix whatever is wrong with the suspension.

Response:

On May 13, 2013, this customer purchased a 2006 Club Car DS electric golf cart from our company. On May 16, 2013, they informed us that they could not take delivery of this cart until after May 21, 2013. We delivered this golf cart to them with the battery charger in excellent condition on May 21, 2013. The customer states that their complaint started on 5/15/13 which is impossible since they did not even have the cart until 5/21/13. On June 10, 2013, we received a complaint from them that the cart was not charging, the rear tires were worn and there was a "rubbing" in the rear end. This is the first time we had heard of any issues they were having. They called to complain on 6/12/13, 6/14/13, 6/17/13 & 6/20/13. Due to the high volume of repairs that we get during this summer season, we can only take repairs as first come, first serve. The customer was informed that we would pickup up their cart and fix the problem as soon as we could. We tried to pick up the cart on June 13th, however, it was after 5pm and there was no one at their facility. We were able to pick up the cart on June 27th. On examining the cart and charger, we discovered that the wiring had been pulled out of the charger as if someone had driven off with the cart still attached to the charger. Because of the time frame of when the cart was delivered (5- 21) and the first complaint about the cart not charging (6-10) it's obvious that the charger was working on delivery and that it had been damaged by the customer. We repaired the wiring in the charger. We replaced one tire that had slight wear on it. It was in no way shape or form unsafe in any way. The other three were fine. We repaired a piece of fender that was rubbing the rear tire. This repair was done at no cost to the customer. The cart is charging and running good just like it was when it was first delivered to the customer. We delivered the cart back to the customer on July 3, 2013. The buyer assumed full liability of the golf cart upon the initial delivery, which is clearly stated on their invoice. What damage they do to the golf cart once they take possession is out of our control. We, however; value our customers and work hard at accommodating their demands as much as is humanly possible. This complaint is completely unfounded as we have already taken proper measures to resolve this situation. Sincerely, Dillon Taylor President - Valley View Golf Cars LLC

Review: I bought a used cart from them in February 2014. The negotiation, payment, and initial delivery process was easy and smooth; their staff was friendly, honest, and helpful. My complaint is NOT about my personal dealings with the staff -- they have been wonderfully polite, which I appreciate.

But they delivered a cart with a different kind of battery than I had ordered, the windshield was cracked, and the cart didn't always run. It took three months of phone calls, discussion, and broken promises before they came to fix it. Now it runs with the correct batteries, but they never came to fix the accelerator issues (the cart only runs when we push really, really hard on the accelerator; my wife cannot drive it effectively, I can only do so sometimes with my full weight on the pedal) and the cracked windshield. I didn't get what I paid for; and I'm sick of calling them to hear that they'll fix it next time they get around to our area.Desired Settlement: I would like the cart fixed as promised upon delivery back in February: I'd like to have a cart with an intact windshield and a normally operating accelerator pedal, and I'd like to have that before the start of school in September. I would like this done without my having to call them repeatedly, or even at all. Valley View knows my phone number and email address, they know the cart's location, all they need to do is tell me the day they'll be here, and I'll have the cart awaiting repair.
