Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I called [redacted] insurance on two seperate occasions and was told that with my mothers insurance there was no reason I would need to pay more than the $that I paidMy mother was admitted into Valley view at the end of may and they billed my mothers insurance on two occasionsFirst billing was submitted for the dates 3/29-3/with a total of $with a co pay of $and on the next billing dates of 4/- 4/with a total of 4,with a co pay of $with a total co pay of $that I paidI also recieved a bill of $from omnicare in regards to the medications that valley view ordered for my motherI paid that bill in fullI do not understand how after charging the insurance company almost $6,plus over $in medications where they are coming up with another $that I oweI called ***, valley views finance manager on multiple occasions regarding this and she would inform me she would need to look into the situatiom and call me back and after that she refused to answer or return any of my calls

We refunded this family $which was over the disputed amount. We could not meet this residents needs and for his safety we recommended he be moved

** was admitted to Valley View as a Medicaid resident for the payor She was receiving physical therapy and occupational therapy through her *** *** *** * benefits As a Medicaid resident the person has to pay a portion of the bill That is called Patient Liability (PL).In this
case her PL was determined by the *** who administers the Medicaid program for State of Idaho, Division of Medicaid to be per month Regardless of her length of stay in facility As stated in the attachment *** (Business Office at Valley View) talked to *** on 5/18/and they set up payment arrangement for the $(1060x2=2120) for four (4) payments*** made one (1) payment of $ On July or *** called and talked to *** (Business Office Manager) to inquire about the balance of the bill $ *** explained that is was his mothers share of cost or Patient Liability (PL) *** began to be rude to *** telling her this would be their last conversation and he was calling Revdex.com Attached is the transaction history for his mother with the breakdown of payments Also is the email stating the PL for his mother $1060.So balance owed for his mothers stay here at Valley View it is 1060x= ( months PL) minus $paid = $1865.This is not determined by the facility, but by *** who administers the Medicaid program for Idaho
