To whom it may concern; I am responding to a complaint made by *** *** about Valley VIP Auto Sales. My name is Benjamin C***, I am the owner *** Stated that we promised her the head gasket had been replaced. However, we made no promises or guarantees about the
vehicle. It was sold "AS IS", and have several supporting documents stating that was the deal as well as a due bill stating that we owe nothing after the deal was contracted. We always allow customers to get the vehicle pre-inspected by a mechanic, if they desire to do soWe did take the vehicle back in and look at it for free after she purchased it based on complaints that she had. The vehicle was repaired, at no cost to her. However, she still was not satisfied and took the vehicle to some mechanic who advised her the head gasket was bad. I don't believe that fixing the head gasket was necessary. I told her that we would look at it again for free and if it did need a head gasket we would be willing to have it fixed at our cost which would be around $1,000. She told me that it was already at the shop and wanted me to pay part of the repair, and this was about weeks after we sold the vehicle to her I told her I would not be willing to do that. She said that if I was not willing to do exactly what she wanted that she could be very nasty, which she has indeed proven to be. We did have the vehicle on a special promotion price at $7,which is what she paid, and is nearly one thousand dollars under the kelley blue book price. I am unwilling to pay any money to her whatsoever. -attachments
