money for the service contractHer father was with her when she purchased the vehicle and agreed she did not need to buy a service contract or warranty as he could repair vehicles and would be able to help her with any repair issues It is not uncommon for used vehicles,especially ones that are years old to frequently need parts replacedThat is why someone would opt to buy a brand-new vehicle that comes with a warranty;to have the peace of mind that if anything needs replaced it will be covered for a certain number of yearsThis vehicle would be around $75,to purchase brand new with a manufacturer's warranty Ms*** and her father inspected the vehicle before the purchaseThey were made aware the vehicle is used and that the purchase was "as is" and signed all the proper paperwork accordinglyMs*** agreed to purchase a vehicle "asis" for a certain dollar amount, and she did in fact receive exactly what she agreed to pay forA used car dealership cannot possibly pay for future repairs or parts that need replaced on used vehicles it sells unless the customer purchases a warranty or service contract To assist the customer, we did advise Ms*** to take the vehicle to a mechanic shop we know that specializes in fixing European vehicles so she could receive the same discount that would be offered to our companyIt is the customers right to have their vehicle repaired where ever they choose and to shop around for the best rates Our dealership abided by the laws that govern the state of Arizona, which states: Arizona Used Car Lemon Law if a major component of your car breaks before the earlier of days or miles after you buy the car A major component of your vehicle would be the engine or transmissionBrakes,Rotors, Alternators, and Batteries are part of defects that may occur in used motor vehicles
