The quote I sent to Ms*** is attachedThe operative paragraph in this quote is this:"Shrub removal for the f*t left was $but this will be included into the planting price below ($989.00) as long as the project is not scaled back significantly. The same would be true of the consulting fee ($285.00)Combined charges as of Tuesday morning, April 15, 2015, are $but this will be worked into the combined total below ($989.00)In other words, the total would be $and this would include the above fees, those fees would not be added, so the total would be $"Ms*** later decided to forgo the last line item on the quote, bringing the total down to $864.00. We do agree to close out this claim however, only because we don't owe anything to Arbor doctor or ***I have been through the paperwork over and over again..firstly, we were never initially told about the "consulting fee" until well after *** had been here to give us the estimate( I am the one who came up with the plan for our landscaping and researched the plants I wanted along with the amounts of them and their placementI have my drawings and paperwork proving this in my dispute file.) We received the bill for *** 285.dollar "consultation" fee a week after he'd been here to give us an estimate onlyAlso, I have several e-mails in which he stated that the consulting fee would be waived if we used Arbor doctor's servicesFurther, this invoice that *** included with his response didn't match up with our final invoice showing that we were paid in fullHe also showed mulch being deliveredWe didn't receive any mulch from them3rd, Arbor Doctor is now showing a installation fee that was never indicated on our initial invoice and should have been included in the price of the plantsNowhere in my paperwork was this even mentionedFourth thing, lilacs, and azalea died within a month of planting even though we watered as instructed, and mop cypress are also dyingLastly, we always pay our contractors and our billsThe defamatory remarks made by *** were uncalled forWe had used him for years to treat our trees and referred many of our neighbors and friends to himSadly, this won't be the case moving aheadWe will consider this case closed and withdraw all other complaints from other entities on the basis that we are here-to-for considered paid in full! As for the dead plants, we'll replace them ourselves

Ms*** contacted our company requesting we provide a consulting report regarding an auto accident which affected plants o her propertyI provided a written report for her insurance following the accident for which I chargedI then provided a second extended consultation on the implementation
of the landscape estimateThe interaction became so problematic with her constantly making changes and nickling and diming our quote that I told her I would not do any more workShe then became real nice and convinced me to go ahead with the work, minus the cost of the consultationBelow is the break down of the charges::The prices below includes the cost of the plants and installation, and

It appears that there was a lot of confusion with this. The take home is that the account is closed and nothing is owed, so our response is as Ms. [redacted] requested. Please be advised that mistakes appear to have been made and we sincerely apologize for that. Ms. [redacted] overpayed for a service...

last year. She was contacted and agreed that the overpayment be applied to the next service. We did that but in the process a request was made to reduce services and ultimately to cancel services. Somewhere in that conversation a message from Ms. [redacted] was missed and an extra service was done after she cancelled. We do not dispute that and she does not owe  for that. Please accept our apologies and realize that this was an honest mistake, or series of mistakes. As with most such circumstances it offers us the opportunity to review and hopefully tighten up our procedures.
