After [redacted] referred me to another appliance service company who turned out to be lacking, I called a couple of other companies I found online, one of them being D&SMonique was very helpful and I appreciated being told exactly what my oven repair was going to cost me, depending on the diagnosis so I booked the appointmentNick, the technician showed up on time after I received a message letting me know he was nearby, and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and professionalHe replaced my broiler element, cut away the burned out section of the electrical wires, and attached new leads instead of replacing the entire wire harness, saving time, labor, and moneyI am very pleased with the service I received and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others

We recently put a call into ***, as our dishwasher of about year was not turning onWe would press the start button and got nothing*** partnered with D&S and in probably as little as an hour, I received a call from D&S letting me know that while they didn't have the following day open, they had next day and if I needed to change it, to call them but if not, I was good to goThe tough part I think, probably for them is when they get the information second hand from vendor, they perhaps don't have all the details, so I received a second call stating that they had to order parts before they sent a technician outThis makes complete senseThere's no need to have a technician come out, when the notes state a mechanical failure, and then have to order parts and come back againTheir communication is amazingI received status updates, automated phone calls to confirm my appointment, an email, and personal phone callsBefore I left for work this morning, I receive a phone call that my technician was finishing his last job and then would be at my houseI am beyond impressed with the service level and I would reach out to them again for my other appliancesAs a side note, our dryer recently broke, and I went with another company who promised same day serviceWhile it was my fault for thinking my dryer could be repaired the same day, their (the other company NOT D&S) lack of communication was horrendousI had to call them 3-times on the appointment day to see if the were actually still coming and while they also did a flat rate the way it seems most appliance repair companies do, they don't hold a candle to D&S customer service wiseI received a PDF copy of my invoice with notes while at workI didn't have to request itWhile I have read past negative reviews, it seems as though they have looked at their business communication model, saw where it was lacking and made the proper changesI am thoroughly impressed and will be a returning customerThank you!

Our washer was showing an error code, D & S diagnosed it immediately and came out to fix it the very next day The technician showed up on time, was in and out in mins and even wore booties over his shoes when he came into our home We were back to doing laundry in no time! Highly recommend D & S

D&S signed up with *** *** to provide warranty services on ***'s behalf in the Boston area I bought an *** extended warranty and had trouble with my dishwasher D&S got a request from *** to service the issue which they did After days my dishwasher failed again, D&S came back and discovered the part they recently installed was faulty D&S received a replacement part but then refused to come back to my house to install it on grounds *** would not reimburse them for the 2nd trip labor I spoke directly with *** regarding this and they said, to the contrary, that since the re-repair was within days they would in fact pay for the 2nd trip out, both parts and labor They confirmed a replacement part was sent and received by D&S I spoke with the D&S owner who refused to call *** back to reconcile this as he was uncertain he would get paid for either the 1st trip or the 2nd trip He did not trust ***, that was apparent, but had no history with the
