Required registration of $50+ paid dvd in order to use
I am a grandmother and have bought the Steam Railroad simulators for my minor grandson. Had I known that spending this extravagant price for a DVD and then having to register with personal information; I WOULD NOT BUY. Now we have a UNUSABLE Train simulators THAT COST OVER $60. What a rip off

Unable to get a refund
I would actually like to now how Valve measures the play time, I tried Sea of Thieves for half an hour and after not liking it I requested a refund, my account shows that I have played for 4 hours ! Of course they denied the refund and now I've wasted $40 in a game I don't like when I could've instead and gone for the sure thing and purchase Star Wars or Assassin's Creed. Next time I'll buy directly for the game maker and recommend everyone doing the same thing

Valve has given me a refund for my purchase, I couldn't originally find a better contact for them and they kept denying my refund but they have since issued a refund and the issue is now reolved and I am very happy and satisfied with valve for their customer service and help with my issue.

I was finally able to get a hold of someone with Valve Corporation that forwarded my problem to Steam Support.  It took another week but my problem has been addressed to my satisfaction.
