I am rejecting this response because:Valvoline has not responded to any contact attempts on my part.   I have sent the supports via...

Certified Mail (which was signed for) twice-  I have attached said supports.once to the local Cuyahoga Falls Store, and once to their corporate care office in Kentucky. when I never received even the courtesy of a reply, I tweeted Valvoline.   I received a canned answer to contact customer care.I emailed customer care on March 20.   No response.That is why I submitted this complaint to the Revdex.com. I did Customer Care today, was advised that there is a claim set up, and that "Legal" is reviewing this.No timeline, no other response.Based on Valvoline's poor communication, as well as their abysmal history on Consumer Affairs and their own Facebook page, I do not want this file closed at this time.

To whom it may concern:
In regards to the guest and the 2000 [redacted], we performed an oil change on May 30, 2015 at 3:04PM. It was brought to our attention that there was potentially an issue, so we investigated everything fully.
Through our investigation, it was determined that the oil level when the guest left was at the proper level. As part of our process, the topside technician (the employee that actually adds the oil after the oil is drained and the oil filter is replaced) confirms the oil level twice - once for himself, and then he shows the guest that the oil level is at a safe, appropriate level. This procedure prevents us from letting vehicles leave with the wrong amount of oil installed in the car. This double check standard was verified on camera. The technician checked the oil level and showed the guest the oil level.
The guest took the vehicle to [redacted], HIS preferred mechanic. [redacted] inspected the vehicle and said that they suspected that there were internal engine problems, but that the problems were due to normal wear and tear and NOT directly related to the oil change. The technician from [redacted] sent us an email confirming that the problems with the engine had nothing to do with the oil change.
Besides us reviewing the cameras and following up with the employees that were involved with the oil change, [redacted] took pictures of everything: engine, bottom of the vehicle, engine compartment, oil filter and oil drain plug. They did send us the pictures via email. There were no obvious signs of oil anywhere. Furthermore, [redacted] recommended a compression test to further assess any damages but the customer declined the test.

We refunded the customers invoice same day and reinstalled his old battery.  See attached invoice showing refund in comment section. We also replaced the      damaged rod/mount for the battery.  After speaking with the customer, he requested...
