I sent my daughter (17) to get an oil change as a way of teaching her the responsibility of car ownership They told her “they only had one type of oil that would be appropriate for her vehicle” and charged her for a synthetic oil change for $100 I’ve contacted corporate and they did not seem surprised nor did they offer me any explanation or assurance that this is not standard business practice.
