The stated vehicle was towed to our facility from another repair centerThe other center refused to engage in the repairs and we offered to try and help this gentleman.Once the vehicle arrived it was disabled to the point that could only do an estimate by crawling the vehicleKeeping that in
mind we presented an estimate to the ownerSince he was trying to manage the repair he wanted to get his own •parts (which we do not do),again trying to helpThe front axle assembly needed replace and was not available from the dealerWe agreed to purchase a used assembly and did not have any way of knowing what part were included with that or its overall conditionKnowing that the left hub, knuckle,and shock were needed and the right side components could be transferred from the existing assemblyThe customer decided to by those parts on his own and have them shipped to usOnce the used assembly was received, it came with those parts so we told the customer to return the parts and save him money.Those parts were special order and could not be
returnedOnce the assembly was installed and move able we have now found additional damage to the engine mounts and a crack in the engine where the mount attachesThe customer has insisted that we take care of this additional damage at no additional costAfter several attempts to work with him to help resolve the situation we find it necessary to ask him to take the vehicle elsewhere.The repairs we agreed to do are complete.There were addition bearings, seals, and a cup that were necessary to complete the assembly, along with two $tow charges from the collision center to our service facility and back to the collision centerThe total due from the customer is $2,Once that
is paid we will reimburse him for the $of the parts that are not returnable.We are requesting that these step be completed within days of this letterOnce this is complete we will give the customer days to have the vehicle removed.To avoid storage charges from being
added we kindly request urgency be taken
