I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11964543, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I would like to note that the reason that all of this occurred was due to negligence on the part of Van Horn Ford. Per the General Manager, Van Horn Ford did not submit all of the necessary paperwork for Landmark Credit Union to be able to establish a loan in my name. It is incorrect that Van Horn Ford was requesting payment from me because they were just trying to help me, rather they were unable to receive their own payment from Landmark Credit Union due to their error in submitting all of the necessary documentation. It is also incorrect that Van Horn Ford ever offered to provide me with an address for Landmark Credit Union so I could meet with them directly, as was stated in their response. Van Horn Ford attempted to blame me as the consumer for my tranot being paid off in full. In fact, I told their staff several times that I did not know what my payoff amount was and they proceeded to contact my auto loan company on their own to establish an amount. It was also then their error in not requesting the day loan payoff amount. All of this could have been avoided had Van Horn Ford: a) properly handled this transaction, b) approached me with a legitimate explanation of what happened (which was not provided until I finally filed this Revdex.com complaint) and c) treated me as a valued customer versus calling me and blaming me for all of the above and not immediately accepting responsibility for their mistakes.

Landmark Credit Union contacted us directly because of a situation with a missing document which was why the loan wasn't set upLandmark asked us to collect the 1st payment from the customer and to send that to their indirect lending officeThis is where they would process it and not have to delay
time with sending out coupon booklets to the customer which could cause the payment to become lateI told the customer personally that she could bring it in or mail the check whichever was more convenientOnce we receive the check we would overnight the check to Landmark and they would send us notification when the check postsThen they will mail out their welcome package to Amy ***. The short payment of the $on the trawas something Amy communicated with me via email that was showing on her Ally statementThe day she told me I had our accounting immediately pay the loanWe originally paid the amount Ally bank told us was owed on Amy ***'s loanMy only guess is that the payoff was not valid for days which is a standard payoff for the auto industry to cover time for paperwork and mailing of fundsI provided Amy with an email attachment showing the check for $to AllyWe still have not received the 1st payment to forward to LandmarkI then offered to provide an address for Landmark’s indirect lending office if she was more comfortable going that routeI also originally advised her to include the application number on her check which we provided to her because no account number had been generated.
