They were hired as the installation agent thru Sears (Sears choice not mine). I'm a homeowner who lives out of state and needed installation of a double oven into my tenant occupied property.

I needed to get installation completed as soon as possible. I spent $571 MORE for an oven than I wanted to because that particular model showed it could be installed 9 days sooner than the less expensive model (I think that was a shipping/delivery issue). 3 days after purchasing the oven the installer called to schedule installation for 13 days later thus negating my savings of 9 days and actually pushing it out another 4 days. This cost me both time and money.

Once the installation day finally came I received a rude voicemail from the installer indicating Sears could not find my oven and he was going to leave for another job. Evidently the oven was found and installer showed up at my property unannounced (I was promised a call 24 hrs prior to installation to coordinate with my tenants).

The installer quickly determined the oven was going to need an additional 3-4 feet of electrical cord to complete wiring. What did they do next? They packed up my oven and took it back to Sears. No phone call from them explaining additional material required or return of my oven to Sears (I paid for delivery). Sears later told me the installer should NEVER have removed the oven I had already paid for. I had to hear from my tenants about what happened and call the installer myself. The installer was so rude to my tenants that they asked for that particular installer to not be allowed to return.

Icing on the cake? After being informed that they only accept payment in the form of cash in person or a check in the mail I was told that their next available installation date was 8 more days away. What business isn't set up to take a credit card or debit card either over the phone or via a website?? I bought the oven, delivery, and installation with a credit card on the internet after all....

Bottom line--this business is extremely difficult to work with and less than pleasant to paying customers. There are better choices out there!
