I had the worse experience in getting my VA loan I have ever hadWe moved from Sun City Az to Ocala Fl in OctoberLisa [redacted] was the Mortgage Loan OriginatorI very seldom get a hold of herI was able to meet with her one timeWhen I had questions I would call and leave a message and she would not return calls.The one time that I got a hold of Lisa she said the she was at the hair salon and call her assistant DaisyI would call Daisy and she would not answer Lisa would send cartoons over the phone of the progress of the loanTo me that was an insultI didn't like that at allShe was either in Texas or hair salon I ask her if closing was going to be on a certain day and her reply was waiting to hear I think it could have been done in a more professional way

This company was recommended to me by a RealtorI was a first time home buyer and I would think that I would receive a little more insight on how all of this worksWhen it started it seemed fine but time consumingAs time went on it only got really badThe attitude from the mortgage banker was a disgraceTheir was such a lack of communication between me and the bankerInformation was never passed along, lack of organization, delaying things when needed not to be, down right lack of explaining anything with buying a houseJust wanted his money and be done with the whole process with usI asked other people if they ever had a problem with buying a house and without any hesitation they had not I would never recommend this company to anyoneI would hope people would read this and stay away from this company

I had the worse experience in getting my VA loan I have ever had. We moved from Sun City Az to Ocala Fl in October. Lisa [redacted] was the Mortgage Loan Originator. I very seldom get a hold of her. I was able to meet with her one time. When I had questions I would call and leave a message and she would not return calls.The one time that I got a hold of Lisa she said the she was at the hair salon and call her assistant Daisy. I would call Daisy and she would not answer.
Lisa would send cartoons over the phone of the progress of the loan. To me that was an insult. I didn't like that at all. She was either in Texas or hair salon.
I ask her if closing was going to be on a certain day and her reply was waiting to hear.
I think it could have been done in a more professional way.

I had a great experience with Hamilton Group. [redacted] my girl friend and I [redacted] recently purchased a home with Hamilton Group. We were very picky about the house we wanted. Our lending agent Myrielle was not just a professional but an amazing person. Myrielle was very patient and worked with us for more than a year assisting us with many issues with budget and credit. There is no way this would have happened with out Myrielle. We now own a home with everything on our wish list. Highly recommend using Hamilton Group and would Highly recommend using Myrielle L. for your loan process. Myrielle is one of the nicest and genuine people I have ever met.

Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Hamilton Group Funding's Illinois Branch based out of Oak Park Illinois. Not sure there's enough character space in this review template to allow me to accurately depict how terrible of an experience I've had, but I'll try. Horrible communication and execution from everyone involved. Their lender [redacted] sends me an email at the start of our process stating "You give me 45 days and I will have a loan for you." Well....today is day 67 and we still do not have a clear to close on our house! I was supposed to be out of my rental property on June 1st after an established closing date of May 27th was set and I took 17 days of vacation to work on my home and here I am with 5 days left of my vacation and haven't even closed on the home. Here it is June 7th and we are still not cleared to close and the lender is now paying my landlord $40.00 per day at their expense for everyday we have to stay in the rental past June 1st. Along the way I have encountered [redacted] and [redacted] setting expectations only for them not to be met. I am yet to get an "I'm sorry" for all the headaches involved with this whole ordeal. Terrible communication from everyone at Hamilton Group and it appears all of them are NOT on the same page with my deal. I escalated my concerns to their supervisor [redacted] and all I got was a fast-talking lawyer type response. I could barely get a word in edge-wise with him and he does it on purpose. Today, they asked me for an "intent to proceed" document that I had already signed and delivered back to them 35 days ago! It absolutely kills me that these is are writing my mortgage for the next 30 years of my life. If my landlord wasn't bulldozing my rental and forcing me out, I would have terminated my deal with Hamilton Group and chose another lender. Stick to the big lending firms out there like Quicken Loans, or your local Bank, etc. These guys don't care about you or your family. They don't care about the details involved as their pipeline of business is overloaded and they would rather drag you through the mud and provide a terrible experience than to make things right and send you to another lender. BUYER BEWARE. Do NOT do business with Hamilton Group Funding, Oak Park, Illinois. The amount of time, effort and headaches involved is just not worth it..... I assure you! Seeing as though the Revdex.com doesn't allow you to leave first and last names, I cannot really tell you how I feel about the people involved in this mess. My overall experience was just terrible, so lets keep it that simple. I'm a Christian man, if I wasn't, I would tell you with several choice expletives how I really feel about these incompetent buffoons. Go to your local bank or use a big name lender if you're trying to procure a mortgage. These guys don't care. Sad really...this was my first time buying a home. I am no stranger to the process seeing as though my sister sells real-estate and I understand the process completely. I think that's part of the problem is that they don't understand that I am not an average customer, yet they are trying to treat me like one. There silly little cartoons as you move through each step in the process is as mis-guiding as they are. Again, do yourself a favor and stay away.
