Absolutely terrible customer service Lots and lots of red tape to cut through to get any sort of repairs that are part of their guarantee Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else

I had windows installed on 4-14-Two of them are leaking between the panes of glass and water is also coming in from the top left cornersJacks said they would be here today between 9am and 11amA no showI contacted the manufacture and told them of my windows are defective(VISTA window company) they said it is up to jacks to take care of it Buyer beware of Jacks*** Mi

I bought my windows and doors from jacks wholesale windows and thought the installation was awesome. I had no problems until about 8 years after. Had some of my windows getting some fog and unclarity in them. I called them to ask them to correct the issue. I had the lifetime warranty for which I bought and they expressly said at the time I purchased the windows and doors I would have. Well when I called they told me the company that had given me the warranty had gone out of business and I was out of luck.

Jack's does not stand behind their warranty. I havea lifetime warranty on my windows, yet when I contacted Jack's they told me the company that sold them my windows is no longer in business and therefore they do not have to honor the warranty. For $35 they will come out and measure the windows in question and then charge me to replace the glass. So much for standing behind your product and caring about your customers.

My elderly parents purchased windows with screens. When they were installed one of the screens was torn. The installer said they would replace it at a later time but not to worry about it and that it would be free. My mom called to have the screen replaced and was told that she would have to bring the screen down to their office to be fixed!!!! First off my parents are elderly in their 80's and they would have to climb a ladder to remove the screen. Then they would have to drive over 30 minutes to the office. Both parents have trouble with seeing while driving!!! They paid over 1000 dollars for windows and screens that weren't suppose to be broken in the first place!!! My husband and I tried to call and reason with the management of Jacks and they pretty much said we are out of luck and that if we don't bring the screen in to be fixed that they would charge a 70 dollar fee to go out to their place to fix it. Really???

The 1st experience we had with Jack's was great but this second time it has been inconvenient as they set appointment and more times than not they are late or reschedule after you have made arrangements. It took almost 3 months to get a repair done. Totally unacceptable and we will probably look else where for the remainder of the windows we need replaced.
