Fourteen months ago, Vance Irrigation Systems sub-contracted my job from KGS Lawn ServiceThe job was continuous curbing and sprinkler stationsI just planted trees and began to water them when I noticed a fairly large leakWhen I dug down, I could see that Vance had laid his plastic pipe over the builder's pipeMoreover, he had nicked the builder's pipe when digging and it took this long for the pipe to break under the weightI called Kevin on a Friday to seek his help and I described the situation as aboveI waited all day Friday, Saturday and 1/day MondayI called again on Monday, repeating the above and also that I could get of people to fix the leak and send him the billKevin called KGS first - and added that I was rudeHe finally called me Monday evening and offered to send a technician on Tues- for $He felt the leak was out of warranty - and it isExcept it was his mistake from day oneIf I have to pay to fix his mistake, I would rather pay someone else - and definitely NOT himI simply wish he would have stood behind his workI even showed him pictures of where the builder's pipes were on the day he did the original work
