practices. From contract negotiations to account closing we provide full support to our customers and disclose critical information regarding the process.
Information regarding the PCI program and early termination fees are clearly stated in our application and card processing agreement. These agreements were signed on October 16, 2014.

We understand the world of credit card processing can be confusing to some merchants - especially with the complexities and rapidly changing governmental and industry regulatory requirements. We aim to simplify these requirements and communicate them to our merchants in a straight-forward manner.
The $295.00 early cancellation fee was disclosed in the agreement that was signed but we appreciate he might not have been aware of such a fee as it was disclosed in a separate location on his agreement from the other program charges. Accordingly we will credit their account for the $295.00.

We will not be able to credit the annual PCI program charge of $95.00 ($99.00 was stated in the complaint). Being PCI compliant is a mandatory requirement of all entities that accept credit cards -- dictated by the credit card brands (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.). We incurred expenses to enroll them in the PCI Program and the fees for the Program are very clearly stated in his agreement, along with all other processing fees associated with the acceptance of credit cards as a form of payment.

I now understand the PCI compliance fee, and understand this cannot be refunded. I am glad that they will incorporate my concerns into their sales training process. We will be looking for the $295 credit in our account. Thank you for understanding our concerns and working to make sure we are satisfied with this process.
