Vanderbilt Medical Group turned a bill over to collections without contacting me, so I never knew the bill existed
On May 1, 2017, I received a letter in the mail from the Nashville Adjustment Bureau, explaining that Vanderbilt Medical Group had turned over a bill of mine to their collection agency
I never knew I even owed a bill to Vanderbilt, and I never pay anything late, let alone letting it go so far as to end up in collections
On May 2, 2017, I called Vanderbilt and spoke with TanyaShe said that Vanderbilt had been mailing notifications to my old address, which I moved from over years ago
My mail was forwarded to my new address for months after I moved, so any mail sent after that would never have been able to reach me
Vanderbilt made no attempt to find my new address, even though my address is current with my doctor and the collection agency found it right away
Tanya claimed they tried to call me, though they never let a voicemail, so I had no reason
