Revdex.com Feb. 25, 2016100 Bryant Woods SouthAmherst, NY 14228Reference Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted]Dear Lou Ann Pedersen,We have resolved this issue with Mr. [redacted] back in January. I'm not sure why he has sent in the complaint at this point. The issue of insurance was a...

situation where he was scheduled to pick up his new Rav 4 on January 11, 2016, but due to a health issue, and our inability to contact him, he didn't actually pick it up until the 20th of January. As you are aware, we are required to contact the insurance to transfer insurance, but it won't take place until the plates are transferred. He was coming out early of a Toyota Lease, and we purchased it from Toyota Financial Services. I believe the problem of not showing paid of is that our regional office is now in the Baltimore area, and that weekend they had a historic snowstorm and the office was shut down for a few days. Im sure at that point, that created a back log of work and it didn't show that his car was paid off ,or there was a posting error, when we actually paid off the car on 1/21/2016. This issue with his previous lease not showing paid off is one with Toyota Financial Services. Mr. [redacted] was in the dealership, Saturday Feb. 20th and at that time we told him that we would call TFS on his behalf, Monday the 22nd. We confirmed that it was paid and he actually was able to confirm that the vehicle was paid earlier this week.Based on this information, we believe that we delivered exactly what we both I agreed to and don't feel that there is any further action needed.SINCERELY,Gerald P Vanderstyne JR.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Despite what you may believe at no point was it stated, that my deposit was not refundable. If this deposit is not returned I will start posting my experience on Yelp and every other review site I come across. Regards,[redacted]

On September 12, 2016, the customer contacted us stating that there was a concern with their vehicle after they had the oil change done at [redacted]. As recommended by [redacted], their 2005 Scion tC was towed to our dealership by a third party tow company of their choosing. We inspected the vehicle,...

found the engine was making an excessive knocking noise and the engine oil was overfull. It was determined that the engine needed to be replaced and the vehicle was unsafe to drive. As requested, we provided the diagnosis to [redacted]. From what we understand, [redacted]declined any repairs on the vehicle. After discussing our findings, the customer declined repairs and had the vehicle towed from our dealership by a company of their choosing. To our knowledge, the customer never came to the dealership while their vehicle was here. The customer called the next day stating that the vehicle had been driven seven miles while at our dealership, there was damage done to their vehicle while it was here, and they were told it had been parked next to a construction trailer. The vehicle was never driven by us as it was unsafe to drive. Thereis not a construction trailer on the property and we did not damage the vehicle. The $65.00 disputed was owed to the tow company they used to have their vehicle towed here. Sincerely,Gerald [redacted].Owner

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. On multiple occasions we explained the problem with the car, and on every occasion they denied the problem existed...UNTIL after the warranty they sold us expired.  Obviously scammed us with the warranty and fraudulently overlooked necessary repairs until after the warranty expired.  Just like a liar to say they didn't lie, just like a scam artist to say they're honest.  This dealership is a sham.  They must have saved their money from scamming people on warranties to remodel because every time we've gone there the place looks like it was just hit by a tornado.  It's been that way for years...just a run down dump. These con artists owe me for the repairs they denied needed to be done.  They write whatever they want on the repair request, which had/has nothing to do with the problems we explained.  They never even took the vehicle out on the road to see what was happening under the described conditions - obvious scam. Regards,[redacted]

This letter is in reply of ID [redacted]. As you are aware we are an Accredited Member of the Revdex.com, It is not our practice to hold deposits from customers . We made a deal based on [redacted] requiring a specific exterior and interior color of a 2016 Toyota Highlander, which at the...

time we did not have, but agreed to locate one for them. We made It very clear to them that it was a non·refundable deposit if they didn't complete the deal , because of the expenses we would Incur locating and transporting the vehicle from Jamestown, New York. They understood and agreed. At that particular time there were both 2016 and 2017 model years available, with the better lease deal being on the 2016. As you can see, #3 under terms of agreement of our buyers order, it states our refund policy, which has been signed by [redacted].lf there any more questions, please contact Jay [redacted] at [redacted].Sincerely,Gerald [redacted]. In response of complaint ID [redacted], we have serviced Mr [redacted] Rav 4 since his original purchase. Over the years, he has never identified this problem as a concern when he would bring the car in for service. Simply, the repair that he was recommended, is an issue of wear and tear, and is not...

covered under are call, which is a totally different issue. As for his warranty, he had an extended warranty that was a 7 year  75,000 mile Toyota warranty, his vehicle has 86,000 plus on it, which expires the plan. I have attached some repair orders and a statement from my Service writer, who was treated very poorly and had to listen to some threats of online assaults, if he didn't get his vehicle repaired at no charge to him. You can read her statement.
